Basically my male best friend and I got very drunk and nearly slept together and since then he has

A) refused to talk about the girls in his life or guys in mine

B) started ignoring my texts and avoiding me

C) told me that it "could have been worse and gone further"

D) said he wants to forget it

look we've been friends since we were 11 years old and i don't want to lose a friend of over a decade because of a drunken kiss. Why is he behaving like this?

Basically my male best friend of 7 years and I kissed last night when we were drunk, but not drunk enough to not know what we were doing. He grabbed my thighs and we shared a bed and slept all intertwined and when it started going somewhere he just sighed my name as if to tell me it was a really bad idea, and we went to sleep all tangled and then in the morning were back to taking the mick out of each other and being close (in the past couple of months we've gotten a lot closer) and pretended nothing ever happened.

But then tonight I brought it up and he was like can we just forget it, it could have been worse and I was like yeah okay. He's been my best friend for so long and now I feel like we can't just go back to normal bc he's being really awkward and not saying anything.

We have so much history and at the end of the day, I don't want to lose him over a drunken mistake.

How do I get us back to normal????

In the past few weeks we've started getting really close as I just broke up with someone and we discovered we had more in common than we realised so we keep calling one another and he came round to mine about a week and a half ago and we just found it easy to just talk.

Last night was my friend's 18th birthday so my best friend and I went, and as everyone was camping afterwards, he and I had decided to share a tent. We ended up getting really smashed and after spending pretty much the whole evening by one anothers sides and being asked if we were together A LOT by people that didn't know us, we retired to our tent.

By this point everyone was making their way to bed and we had a king sized duvet and a sleeping bag, which he unzipped and we were basically sharing covers and one pillow. We lay down to sleep face to face with his arm under me and legs intertwined and stuff and our faces were touching and I kept thinking we were going to kiss and we didn't for ages and then we did. And he had his hand on the back of my thigh (i was wearing shorts) and we started kissing and he moved and brought it in deeper and then he said my name as if to say stop.

And then this morning both of us acted like it never happened and he's back to being normal and I honestly don't know whats going on. Please tell me what you make of this?????

My FWB texts me at night saying **** like "I want cuddles and pizza and sex rn" and then he rings me on his breaks from work and tells me about all his problems and insecurities.

He rings me the second he finishes work and texts me beforehand.

When we go somewhere at night he'll grab my hand or after we've been doing **** we'll have deep conversations and I feel like this is really heading away from FWB territory.

He also gets incredibly jealous about me meeting up with male friends/guys in general and expects me to put him first??? Like today I told him I couldn't see him tomorrow bc I had work to do and then changed my mind to meet up with an old friend and he got really pissed off.

I feel like he thinks FWB is basically a relationship w/o commitment or labels and thats not what i see it as. Is this weird or is this normal for fwbs?

I just got out of a serious relationship, as did my FWB a few months ago, so neither of us want anything.

It started bc I went out on Friday night and met up with a couple of people, and FWB was there. So at first we flirted a lot, bc we nearly got into a similar situation about a year and a half ago before we both got into relationships, so it never happened

We got v drunk and kissed and I told him over text the next day (after he'd been texting me) that I didn't want anything and I just wanted a friend.

But on sunday I had a bad night and rang FWB and we started talking and on monday morning he told me he was coming to pick me up that night and we'd go out for a couple of drinks. So we did, and after being very flirty and talking about our problems, we ended up making out again and constantly making sexual innuendos and he kept grabbing my ***.

So we agreed to be FWBs bc neither of us want a relationship. But we both need a friend and we both want sex.

But then today, after telling him I couldn't go round on Wednesday bc I had work to do, I changed my plans to accomodate a male high school friend i havent seen in over a year. And he got so jealous and annoyed that I changed my plans and kept asking about mine and my friends relationship. Also he held my hand when we were walking in the dark last night and kept bribing me into stopping and pecking him on the lips.

Idk but to me this isn't really typical of FWBs and i don't understand what he wants and why he's this way.

Yesterday I took 8g of paracetamol. I'd rather not go into details about why but I can't go to hospital and I'm getting a lot of side effects. The most irritating one being the fact that I have difficulty swallowing (dysphagia).

Can someone please tell me how long this will last?

I met this guy, Lewis, a month ago and the first week I knew him we spoke quite a lot but we were just having a laugh, and weren't really each other's focus, until the friday, on which we spent a 5 hour bus journey home lying on each other, with my face right into his neck, and his head on mine. We both claimed to be asleep at the time but later admitted we didn't sleep at all.

So we texted all the following weekend, flirting, and then the next week started the same, but by the end of it he'd had enough of me, and we just spoke occasionally as he was starting to be a bit of a dick, saying things like 'you text me too much' and then texting me first.

The first 2 weeks were residentials monday-friday. For the next 2 weeks we did planning and executing of a community project, and he ranged between deliberately choosing to go in groups without me and saying '**** you' for no reason, as well as telling me to stop texting him, to spending hours flirting and talking and play fighting and wrestling over my phone (including him telling me that he'd told his best friend about me after the first residential and trying to sit on me so he could read my texts and undoing my bra and stupid stuff)

Why is he so on and off with me?

I spent the last 5 days with this guy I met on monday, at a residential. We've been joking and talking and flirting the whole time, and then we spent a five hour bus trip home sitting next to each other, falling asleep on his shoulder and hugging and stuff. This week I've had him randomly comment on how fit girls are, and friday night (after the five hour bus) we were texting, and right after flirting he randomly goes to me 'lol, I'm not gay btw' after giving me no reason to think he was. He then, as an explanation said that he thought i might think he was and that he didn't want me to be embarrassed, before falling asleep and not responding.

I've been asking him a little over the last couple of days and all he ever says is 'you keep asking me, so I think you know'

Why would he randomly say that?

I'm especially confused as to why he would say that he didn't want me to be embarrassed. Any ideas?

Last week, I went on a residential and met a guy called Louis. Louis and I became fast friends, having people even ask if we knew one another before the trip. After 5 days of hanging out in both a group or alone, we spent a 5 hour bus ride sitting next to one another. During which, I fell asleep on his shoulder and a) woke up to find him taking a picture of us b) felt him pushing my hair off of my face when he thought i was asleep and c) had him constantly shifting to lie his head on me. Everyone keeps assuming we'll get together, and since Friday (when we came home), we've been texting none-stop. He randomly told me he wasn't gay on friday night, after giving me no indication he was, and then yesterday asked how far away I lived so we could meet up sometime.

But

Despite all this, last night he explained to me that he 'doesn't do relationships' because he sees them as pointless (we're 17) so it kind of confused me. He's also commented on several girls being 'fit' in my presence.

After telling me this, he continued to flirt and act the same and grin at me constantly so I don't know where we are. Why would he randomly tell me he wasn't gay? When I ask he merely states 'I think you know, because you keep asking.'

Can someone try and explain this to me?

Okay...I had a crush on this guy for a year... And not like a little, a lot and my best friend knew this, and told him in front of my whole class. I still kind of liked him when my best friend decided that she liked him too, and then after they started dating (without telling me) she asked me if I was okay with it. And I lied and said sure. She then took a week to admit they were dating.

They then broke up a few months later, her giving the excuse that 'he hugged her too often'.

They're now best friends and he's completely smitten with her. And I keep trying to help him and give him advice and we're good friends now. But she's making it impossible for him because she says she likes him but it'd be awkward because they know each other too well. I mean, seriously? Like today he tried to hug her because he was getting annoyed that she hugged loads of her guy friends but not him, and she just went 'no.' And to be honest, I feel so sorry for him because she gets jealous whenever he has a date but then says 'no, its too awkward'. And he doesn't understand.

Like Thursday we all went paintballing during which I noticed that every time I looked in his direction he was already looking at me, I noticed it a few times in the day. He was also being a lot more jokey and friendly with me than usual- even complimenting my killing him in one of the games.

Then yesterday, I went round to his house and we were playing a quiz style game on his playstation with our siblings and he sat with his legs on my knee the entire time, teasing me when I got questions wrong. He just kept laughing and smiling at me.He's never touched me and joked so much.

But he doesn't act like that in front of mine or his parents. :/

Everyone I've mentioned it to thought he might like me, and my mum has been asking if he does for ages but thats kinda impossible, so why would a guy I've known forever suddenly act so different towards me?
