Would hay be a good groundcover for underneath my kids' playscape?
The rubber mulch is so expensive, and so is regular mulch. I was thinking about using hay, and maybe even putting a layer of hay and then an outdoor carpet over the top of it. But I worry the hay will get moldy. Anybody have any advice?
