  • I got a letter to dispute?

    Hello

A few weeks ago, I sent a letter requesting validation about a debt I owe to this collection company (MCM). They have sent me back a letter stating if i wanted to dispute the debt and they reported to the credit bureaus that the account is disputed. What does that mean?

I just wanted to make sure that the debt is correct and it says who I owe and what I owe. I don't really want to dispute this debt because I know I owe them, but I just wanted some validation.

What do I do now? Thanks.

  • Collection company won't validate debt, what now?

Hello, this question is a follow-up on my previous question here

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Apvfl...

So I basically sent the collection company LNVN, a validation letter with CRRR. I got the green card back stating that someone has received the letter. The first letter I got from them was that they stated that they don't handle my debt anymore. The original collector was Capital Management and they stated that they moved my debt to another collector, Regency Management which is under the same company, LNVN. I just got another letter letter asking me to pay a certain amount.

Am I wrong or are they not suppose to attempt to collect from me before they had validated my debt? What can I do now?

  • What is this noise coming from my car?

    I have a 2001 Honda Accord LX

I've have been hearing a "clanking" noise whenever I hit a little bump or cracks on the road. It sounds like it is coming from the passenger side of the car. I took it to 2 different mechanics and they couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from. They both guessed that it is probably coming from the shocks, but even they're not %100 sure. They told me that the shocks might be dead or faulty and that i might need to change them. My car was lowered with coil overs before and i had to raise it back up because it was too low. It sounds like metal hitting metal every time i even hit the slightest bump on the road.

    Thanks

  • What is wrong with my Albino Tiger Barb?

I have an Albino Tiger Barb, and there is something growing over one of its eye. It was just a small thing before, but now it completely covers its whole right eye. I have about 8 tiger barbs in that tank and none of them have the same symptoms. The one that has that bulge on its eye seems healthy and is still swimming normally. I just don't know what that thing is, it kinda looks nasty.

  • Paying off a debt that is in collection.?

I have a debt in collection with LVNV funding. They sent me a letter requesting that they will accept 50% off of the original debt if i send them a payment within 45 days of the letter. That debt is actually mines and i want to pay it off. I don't owe that much so 50% sounds good to me. I'm going to send them a Pay for Delete letter because i don't want it on my credit report in the future.

Do you think i should validate the debt first? I already know that the debt is mines and i want to pay it. They also gave me 45 days to pay but if i ask for a validation, that could delay it past the 45 day offer.

    Any help will be appreciated.
