the iPad isn't FOR Basic, I just want to use it to read (ALL my reading I do on my iPad now) on the ride there (I think I'll be flying). Then they can lock it up or whatever when I get there. And I want a journal so I can write in it and even have a keepsake afterwards, of course I don't want any of the TI's putting it on blast.

I go to Basic Training in March, and my parent are being really frustrating about me driving so I'm starting to have to call out days at work etc so I'm thinking of getting a car since I have 5 more months at home.

I'm a linguist and tech school is super long (like up to two years for some. a year and a half usually). Will I be able to use my future car there?

He'll be the one to initiate plans with me then disappear for about a week or two and text me as if nothing happened. He's done it like 4 times, and once we had plans in like an hour and he kept saying he would be ready in an hour, then a few minutes, then said he was at the gym, etc etc til i finally gave up. I don't get it. Is it an ego thing?

I've never really really liked a guy, but I like this one. I'm usually not nice to guys either, but I decided to be with this one. We met on a dating site, and have been texting a lot til we meet really soon. I'll say nice things to him, compliment him, and he'll respond with "awww such a sweetheart" or "such an angel" and I can't tell if it's like a positive thing, or kind of waving away the things I say.

I don't want to be too nice to where it's lame and he starts to only see me as a friend or doormat you know?

What do you guys think?

In my dream I was lying in my bed, when out of the corner of my room all these shadows with long faces came out and were reaching for me and going inside my body. I started screaming in terror for my parents, neither of who came. Then, the weirdest part, is that dream me started yelling at conscious me to wake up. So I forced myself to wake up.

What does this dream mean? I'm so creeped out by it.

And I went to my school's site and printed out my transcript that shows all my college credits i received from high school til now. It has my full name on it, my birthday, student number, everything. It even has the school's webpage on the bottom of each page. I have 44 credits I don't want going to waste. Do you think they'll accept it?

We're both libras. Ive known him for 8 months now. I've always been interested in him and he showed he was interested in me. He would send me pictures all the time, text me all day, go on and on in poetic paragraphs about how beautiful and intellectual I am. text me that he was thinking about me. This went on for months and I made sure not to rush things.

Because he made it clear that he wouldn't date me because I wasn't near him (he'd say if I did live near him he'd date me in a heartbeat) I dated other guys. He knows but has never said anything didn't seem bothered, but looking back maybe he was. Even after that dating stint he acted the same.

In July I told him I liked him. Straight forward. And he said he liked me too.

Then THE DISTANCE. No more pictures no paragraphs, ill have to initiate a conversation and ill get maybe a good 20-30 minutes before he disappears. I'm the first to text. I want to bring it up but don't know without making it worse or if I even should.

I'll never have sex with them, never even say a sexual word, and they'll suddenly propose being friends with benefits. Or guys in relationships (some try to hide the fact and I find out later, others are more bold) will want to "hang out" on the side saying they don't really like their girlfriend because she does or doesn't do x. Even some married men have tried!

I don't understand it! I'm more of the lady in the streets freak in the sheets type, really smart and refuse to hide that, a huge feminist (always thought it'd be a turn off) and carry myself fashionably with utmost respect, funny, ambitious, too lazy for drama. I love myself!

So I'm not sure why guys are attempting to reduce me to these side positions? My friend said its because I'm a dream girl, really ideal, but they're not ready for it and only want to EXPERIENCE it a little. I think he was lying to be nice though.

I met this guy back in June and just connected with him this month. It was going well for a week, we'd flirt and he'd tell me he wanted to cuddle etc, and I asked if he was free over the weekend, he said completely and asked why, I told him I wanted to hang out. He agreed. We spent the next few days making plans, he suggested a resturaunt to go to etc. well the weekend comes and he disappears.

I texted him Saturday letting him know if he didn't want to hang out all he had to do was say so. then didn't hear from him for 5 days or so.

I was freaking out but kept it to myself and made other plans etc focused on other things, then after the few days I get a text from him saying he does want to hang out. I played it cool pretending I didn't notice his absence.

My theory is that he thought I'd meant a DATE date, and got cold feet, but came back when I didn't chase.

We still text every day, but so far he's made no move to ask to hang out. He doesn't flirt either. He holds conversation, asks me questions but that's it.

I even tested it one day and slipped in a comment about him being handsome and he disregarded it and continued the conversation. So I've distanced myself as well. I answer his questions and occasionally offer some of my own, if he texts back I respond if I'm not busy, and don't if I am. Basically I'm trying to be cool. Maybe we're both being too cool.

I'm 19 enlisting into the air force (so excited! I've heard great things about it and my parents are proud, both are retired army.)My wardrobe is 99.9 percent dresses and skirts, kind of Zoey deschanel, very flowery or pastel. I wear them all the time, so when people say "just wear your regular clothes" it confuses me. I'm doing everything from taking the ASVAB to getting sworn in. Skirts and dresses are no comfort issue for me, and I have some that are more respectable (some hi low skirts, nice chiffon skirts) and can wear me with socks and shoes and a nice blouse, would this be ok for Meps?

I asked this guy to go out with me this weekend, and he said yes and suggest where we should go. we were up last night texting and flirting til about 2am and I was the last to get, he never answered my question of what day we should go, and I haven't heard from him all day today. Should itext him again? And what should I say?

I just got this phone last Wednesday. For the first two days it sent pictures so fast, now it won't send them, just a red clock pops up and the person never get it.

I've talked to TMOBILE support, they told me to pull the battery for 3-4 minutes, did it. They told me to go through all these phone settings and I did, Ive tried changing the picture size from large to small, I have a data plan yet, they still won't send. I don't understand why. This is a brand new out of the box phone.

So, I like this guy, when we first met he was really sweet, he seemed into a relationship at the time, but I just wasn't ready. I'd just gotten out of a bad one and didn't want to jump headfirst into another, so after a few days he started dating some other girl.

When I see them out together he doesn't look very into her, they're quite awkward and all.

Anyway, we started talking again, and he basically brought up that he wants to be friends with a level of physical affection, basically a friend with benefits. Now, we've never had sex, maybe made out a little before he started dating someone else.

And right now it seems all he views me as is a potential friend with benefits. How can I change this?

I know for the job I'm going for I really just need to do well on the verbal and math parts of the test, and I'm already naturally inclined to do well on those parts, and study them as well. But I know I'm not interested in the mechanical type things, and usually get average scores on them.

Should I really worry about those parts of the ASVAB?

Last night I met this guy and neither of us had our phones so he just put my number in my friends phone. I didn't plan on it but later on we hooked up. I really like his vibe and attitude and want to get to know him more. How long should I wait before texting him?

I'd been talking to this guy for about 2 weeks, and at first he was extremely flirty and always wanting to hang out with me, even when I said no, he persisted. Then it all started to become pretty platonic to where he flirted no more.

Today, I told him I like him, and he said we couldn't be more than just friends.

I feel totally rejected.

So my question is, after this, do I just completely ignore him, or talk to him as friends as if nothing happened?

My phone got wet a while ago (weeks ago) but still worked just fine, until one day, I dropped it [not far] and it completely conked out.

So since then it's been in this infinite bootloop. As soon as I put a battery in (I got replacement batteries), it vibrates, goes to the htc screen, then shuts off.

I've tried hard resetting it as well. I get to the screen, and tried factory reset, and recovery, but it does nothing to help, and the phone goes back into the bootloop.

Also

-The battery charger doesnt work, the charging light turns on for a few moments, then turns off,

-There's a weird faint light next to the LED notifications light.
