  • How do I get my wife's freeloading kids out of my house?

I am married to my first wife at 42. It's her 3rd marriage at 39. Her 3 kids are boy 23, boy 21, girl 16. The my wife has the girl on weekends as terms of custody, but the 2 older boys are emancipated. None have any relationships, and every single weekend plus Friday and Monday morning on either side, they have nothing planned. They are social zeroes, and only want to watch cable, play video games, and eat. My daughters are 2 and 4, and I hate that they witness this lethargy. Things are tough with my wife, and she uses them against me when there's a conflict. I know therein lies the real problem, but I want to work it from 2 sides. The kids are adults, but they are simple parasites. They don't like me, and the feeling is mutual. Their family is inbred. They have a history of 1st cousin marriages, and I did some research finding that inbred creatures of any species are more asocial and introverted. We are dealing with genetic tendencies, not behavioral issues. They will never take part in any activity--I have tried camping, fishing, and picnics. Their father was a parasite off of his parents, the city for whom he worked, and tried to get worker's comp. after a fake 6-month back injury--yes, just like the guys committing fraud who are videotaped. So no examples anywhere. How do I get these parasites out my house with no help from my wife?

  • What would explain a dull pain in my abdomen 5 weeks after appendectomy?

I had a laproscopic appendectomy 5 weeks ago with no real complications. I have felt fine after a normal recovery. I have been doing normal daily activities, like pulling weeds, and some sit-ups. Now I have developed a lump right above my navel near the incision. It is a dull but still concentrated muscular pain with pain of 3/10 and 6/10 if I apply any pressure. I don't have insurance. Is there a way I can get some advise on what this could be?

  • In Colorado can I withdraw my role of Architect of Record for non-payment?

I am an architect who has submitted permit docs for a restaurant remodel in the Denver Metro area, and between 1st and 2nd submission the building department reviewer asked for changes not agreed upon in the original contract. I billed him hourly for the additional service. He has paid me in full for the permit docs and would normally not charge for revisions addressing oversights or corrections on my drawings. The additional design was for zoning's requirement of mechanical screens on the roof, and this requirement was not discussed, included, or communicated to me in any way. Although it is my role to address all local codes, I feel that I was thinning out my fee quite a bit for the Owner, and why should I have to give away free work? It's not a matter of non-payment until it is established whether it was included or not in the original fee. My contract states that additional services is to be billed at my hourly rate. I have no leverage, so can I withdraw my role as Architect of Record?

  • What type of shrub will grow in Denver, CO in a high salt environment?

Our house is on a busy road. Our landlord said he would pay for some landscaping screening along the road but that he had tried many times and nothing grew. The salt used on the road during snow and ice storms would run off into the ditch and into the drip line of the shrubs/trees. Is there a hearty shrub/tree that will stand 5' high and will endure the salt. Also, a well supplies the irrigation so it does not need to be xeriscape or drought tolerant.

  • what movie was it where there is a girl shot in the chest with her boyfriend/husband watching?

There is a strip club scene. the movie title starts with a vowel. the gun used on the girl is in a vice so the boyfriens is also being framed for the murder as he is forced to watch. the girl slumps over and the star (roy scheider or james woods or a look-alike) who has strung a piece of plywood over her chest removes the board to reveal that the shots were real. i saw it once--what was it???

  • ON THE HORIZON AT EARLY MORNING OR EVENING, DOES THE MOON APPEAR LARGER?..?

because it is adjacent to trees, buildings, so it appears larger with those as reference points. Or, does viewing at a low leveL next to the horizon line mean that the atmospere acts as a lens and enlarges the moon's image?
