Where did my video go (iMac)?
I just shot several video clips that I intended to edit together in iMovie. I know that I uploaded the video clips to my computer. I had to do it part-way through the project. But they are GONE! They aren't on my camera and they aren't on my computer, either. At least, I can't find them anywhere in iPhoto or through Finder. Where did they go? Is there anything I can do?
1 AnswerDesktops9 years agoCan I get the security deposit back on an apartment if I don't want to move in?
I was going to move into a collective apartment complex for artists only. At least, I was told that it was only going to be for currently active artists. I paid the security deposit and signed the lease. But then I found out that the building is very seriously infested with mice. There's no free wifi like the ad said there would be. And - guess what? -- there are people living there who are not only not artists, but they had no idea that the building was going to be used as a collective. AND some of them are letting random people in all the time. And my neighbor (a non-artist) is really loud and uses drugs in the building. I haven't done anything to the unit and I haven't moved any of my stuff in yet. Can I get my security deposit back? I do not want to move in!!
4 AnswersRenting & Real Estate9 years agoWindows Movie Maker Problem?
I made a video last weekend using this process and it worked fine. Everything was going according to plan today until Windows Movie Maker decided to stop working. Let me tell you what I did and what problems I am having. First, I shot my video in .MOV with a digital camera. Then, I converted the files from .MOV format to .WMV format and edited them down in Movie Maker. That went fine. But all of a sudden Movie Maker decided to stop playing my project preview. I have closed the program and restarted the computer twice. No use. I have already tried Google. As far as removing transitions is concerned, I only used a minimal number of "fade ins" and I can't tell where they are so I don't know how to disable them. So, if the answer is to disable the transitions, can someone tell me how to do that without knowing exactly what clips have transitions? After Movie Maker stopped playing my preview, I decided to just publish the movie. But it wont do that either. Please help! I have wasted hours converting and editing this all weekend.
