I read it like last summer, but I just can't remember the name of it. It was written in the 20th century and was about a girl who met this shy scientist who ended up spending a lot of time with her mom. Later they met up again when she was older, a writer or reporter I think. And they fell in love. I think it was set in World War II but I am not sure. And I think she was a pilot too.

I have heard so many people on here describing suicide as selfish, irresponsible, and that person's fault.

How can you be so judgmental? Does it make you feel better for being such a shitty person who isn't there for their suicidal friend?

How can you talk so horribly about someone who was so unhappy, ignored and lonely that the only option they could find was to take their own life?

And some people kill themselves simply from an antidepressants side effect! How is that selfish?

But who cares how they died! Doesn't it matter when someone you care about is gone forever?!

Felt like talking to an old friend so you emailed them. Then you got the email back and found out that they had died? My college roommate died 3 months ago and I just found out! And simply because out of the blue I felt like e-mailing her. I feel so strange and sad.

I know most moms are annoying or pushy or whatever but I am an adult and I don't live in her house so I shouldn't have to deal with it as much right? Any ideas how to get her to let me live a peaceful life? Is it unreasonable to ask for some space? She comes over all the time and calls incessantly. I've asked her repeatedly to cool off. She just keeps showing up with excuse after excuse. I have very painful memories when she's around and the last time she came I was so stressed that I took a 3 hour nap after she left and then had really bad nightmares. I usually have severe headaches when she's around, and I am just now starting to get on with my own life after struggling with depression. She refuses to face the dysfunctional past (mostly of her creation) and doesn't even acknowledge that I was depressed and that she's not a good influence. This is ruining my life, and I can't afford therapy or to move really far away yet. I love my family but she is really disrupting that for me too.

I'd like to find these striped bedsheets, do you know any websites that sell them or anything like them? I like retro cool stuff like this (so anything even remotely similar will be helpful)
