I have round cast iron plates on my dumbbells. The ab wheel has the wheel in the middle while my plates are on both sides of my dumbbell bar. Would that difference have a big impact on the results I'd be getting when doing ab wheel exercises?

I know a wheel is not expensive but I have already bought a few workout equipment (pullup bar, bench, weights) and I don't feel like buying anything if I can get similar results by using what I already have. Please include an explanation to your answer. Thanks.

I am looking for mass. I am quite skinny so I am only concerned about adding mass to my body. With that in mind, Is it better to do full body workouts or isolation workouts? Also, I haven't worked out in a years so should I start with one(like full body) and switch to the other(like isolations) after a few months? If so, after how many months?

Btw, time is not that big of an issue for me so I'll work-out 3x/week if full body is better and 5x/week if isolation is better. Please also include the reasoning behind your answer.
