  • What do you think of stuffing a chicken with citrus & herbs?

I am going to bake this bird, thought about using an orange (quartered) and a small branch of fresh rosemary and fresh basil, maybe adding a lemon or lime, quartered as well, into the cavity. Seasoning with garlic salt, mrs. dash season salt & pepper...do you think it'd turn out good?

  • What type of denture adhesive & cleaner works best for you?

There really is no 'right' or 'wrong' answer so consider this kind of a poll...my husband has new dentures, I have my original teeth, so, what adhesive do you use for keeping them in and what denture cleaner do you use, and your opinion on others, if you have one. This is all new to me (& him) so thought I'd ask...Thanks & have a great weekend!

While digging for my veggie garden I found a strange bug, and would like to keep it preserved to start my grandson's bug collection. This bug isn't one that is commonly seen so it's a keeper. If anyone knows, please share, thanks!

  • can you give aspirin or baby tylenol to a dog?

My daughters little maltese was just sat on and his back leg is sprained. She doesn't have the $ to take him to an emergency vet, I told her to wrap him in a blanket to help with any shock, so far so good. She called me back and said he hurts, I need to know if she can dilute an aspirin, or baby tylenol in a spoon of water and give it to him, for pain. She can take him to the vet tomorrow, she is on limited income. Any help is appreciated.

  • How to cook down frozen berries to make a syrup for pancakes?

I have a bag of frozen mixed berries and want to cook them down, and sweeten them up to put over pancakes. I would also like to substitute honey in place of sugar, if possible, and don't have a clue as to where to begin. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I did try allrecipes.com, couldn't find anything on this.

    Thanks a bunch!

  • Using cooking oil for alternative lighting?

I get a newsletter from Lehmann's & in their "specials" they showed a book on how to use either vegetable oil or olive oil in building your own oil lamps. Has anyone tried this method instead of using regular oil lamps? If so, would you share on how to make your own and is it more cost effective? We burn oil lamps in the evening and have many, the cost of the oil is becoming more costly. If someone knows of other alternatives, I would be interested. Thanx

  • can erithromyacin replace sulfamethoxazole/tmp for bacterial infection? knowledgable answers only, please?

my daughter was prescribed sulfamethoxazole/tmp for what her doctor said was drainage for a cough that had gotten into her lungs and caused her lymph node under her arm pit to swell. The swelling has gone down and was told that once the cough went away, the swelling should too. After reading all the adverse reactions caused by the sulfamethoxazole and the fact that she's had seizures in the past, I am very opposed to giving her the prescription. The doctor also has given her an inhaler that I don't know what it contains, but is a yellow/orange case with med that is inserted, then pumped into her lungs. She was told that it would help with the cough, loosening any mucus that she could spit out. When talking with the pharmacist, she wasn't much help when it came to answering my questions or concerns. I would appreciate all comments on this drug, thanks

  • How would you handle this situation at work?

After completing a project, having to do with reporting assets to a funding source, your co-worker who has never dealt with this project, and your supervisor, take your project & make it their own then destroy your originals, what & or how, would you deal with this? What recourse does one have since you cannot prove that this was done? Yes, I've learned a lesson that my originals will never again go to my boss...do you make up a falsified copy and let them have the fake, then turn the correct copy over to your bosses supervisor? Or, make copies of the correct work and give it to your supervisor while keeping the originals? How does one prove that the work that they do, for the benefit of the company, gets acknowledged and not taken for anothers gain?

  • Why does my older female dog whine all the time?

Dahlia, our 12 almost 13 year old dalmation, constantly whines. It's not that she's in any pain, it's more like "needy". She will start before we get up in the morning, sometimes it will wake you up and goes on & on & on. We've tried giving her extra attention, that seems to make it worse. She's an in/outside dog, as we have a dog door that enables her to pretty much do what she wants, when she wants. She really doesn't have any other bad habits, but this is driving us crazy! We're beginning to think she's neurotic.

Does anyone know why she could be doing this? I thought if I take her to the vet, he'd think we're nuts! I'm really at my wits end with her and don't know what else to do, other than give her up, but I can't & won't do that, even tho' there are times...thanks for any ideas or help

it keeps blowing ECM fuse; all other functions on truck work, will turn over. Lights, power windows working, won't pump fuel & won't start; also replaced control module/computer. Keeps blowing ECM fuses, have replaced wiring from fuel pump to relay & fuel guage. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide. Have consulted Chiltons manual and also went online to Chiltons wiring diagrams, now at wits end...

    Again, thanks.

  • Is there any website I can access to find out whether or not if a vehicle?

has a salvaged title, besides car fax? I believe the car is salvaged, my daughter bought it, the title hasn't been sent to DMV as the dealer, who sold it to her, has stated. I went to the DMV website (CA) and can't access any info there. Also, what recourse might she have if the dealer sold her a car, knowing it was salvaged and not having the title to it? Any info & help is appreciated.

  • Have, or is anyone out there, trying the diaperless baby method of toilet training their babies?

I was reading about this and found it quite interesting. What websites are out there that can teach, or show, what the signs are? Also, I would like to know what you think of the practice, if you are practicing, and the upside & downside, as well. My grandson is 1 Month and 2 weeks old, is this too young? What ages are/were your children when you started?

Any other pertinent information will be helpful!
