Can anyone give me information on how to change the transmission fluid in a 2000 Mercury Cougar? I have changed transmission fluid before in a rear wheel drive car but never in a front wheel drive car. How hard is it and can someone tell me where i can find instructions for this type of car to do it.

I have a 2000 Mercury cougar and it has 100,000 miles on it. The transmission fluid is getting worn (light orange color). Can i just drain the old from the transmission and torque converter and put new in. Or do i also need to change the filter that is in the transmission pan? The reason I'm asking is because i have changed the fluid in my 1994 ford Thunderbird but that is rear wheel drive and the pan is simple to drop down. With the cougar being front wheel drive i don't know if i want to even attempt to get the pan down to try and change the filter.

Also how much would it cost to have a professional do it?

I just bought an MP3 player an it uses the usb port to transfer the songs and to charge the internal battery. The problem is you cannot listen to the player while it is charging from the computers usb because the mp3 player thinks you are transferring data. Is there a way to just keep the power on and shut off the transfer so the mp3 player will charge but not go into transfer mode. Also there is no setting to set the mp3 to transfer or charge mode i checked.

I am looking a buying a 2002 wrx sti and was wondering if and owners can give me a review of the car. This car has 80,000 miles on it but is in excellent condition. Would it be wise for me to buy it it needs to last about 4 years I drive about 20,000 miles a year. Thank you for your answers.

Does anyone know how to reset the ecu/computer in a 2000 Mercury cougar? I have done it in my Thunderbird but that was just one fuse the cougar seems like it has multiple fuses liked to the computer. Any help would be appriciated.

How hard is it to hook up two ps to one computer. Not to double the voltage but to have more amps available nothing will be connected together they will run independently just a common ground and turn on. Is this dangerous?

All other lights work fine except for the head lights the high beams and the fog lights. Turn signals, hazards and parking lights work fine

I know people have had this problem but no one has given a good solution
