  • Why are people able to answer my questions after they've been closed for 6 years?

Most of the crap I get is spam, this shouldn't be allowed.

  • Need help finding a song?

Searching Google and using songtapper have yielded no positive results.

Song sounds like late 70s-80s rock (I wanna say Soft Rock) and i can only remember the ending:

    doo doo doo-doo doo-doo doodoo!

    doo doo doo-doo doo-doo doodoo!

doo doo doo-doo doo-doo doodoo! doodoo!

but it does sound similar to REO Speedwagon or Starship or something like that. Can anyone help?

  • "Young people think they have all the answers."?

Really? Who the heck came up with that malarkey? I find this statement and its variants to be highly untrue. I was once a teenager, and NOT ONCE did I think I "knew everything although my parents said otherwise of my thinking. I even had arguments about this false statement.

Why do parents come up with this crap? I doubt most teens actually think this and it's just a fabrication made up by older people who think they "know better" and believe teens know nothing.

  • Help with finding an old commercial?

I used to enjoy that commercial for Cinnamon Toast Crunch with Frank and his deep voice: "Ah, the aroma...the taste...the legend...the pleasures of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. With crisp wheat and rice square baked to perfection achieving a level of pleasure reserved *only* for the *most discerning*..."

"Frank?" "Yeah?" "ZIP IT!" "Sorry." "Cinnamon Toast Crunch: Breakfast on a Whole Other Level." "Aren't you late for work?" (The response is one of the next 2 quotes) "Uh huh huh. Real late." or "Baby, I take my time."

Can't seem to find it anywhere.

  • Why is web streaming radio on a 60 second delay?

I'm listing to this one station in my listening area, WMGS Magic 93 (92.9 FM) in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

When I tune it in on the radio, it is a full minute ahead of the broadcast coming through on my web browser.

  • Why did they choose *69 for last call return telephone service?

Is there a significant meaning? Did they know at the time that it was a sexual term? Was it sexual when call return came out?

I find it interesting because in theory you can use call return (*69) to call a friend/acquaintance and get a 69.

  • Why do some people seem to ignore my friend requests?

No, I'm not talking about people who decline my request. I'm actually talking about people who do log in to their page every so often and seem to just skip over my request. I've actually seen this: I requested a friend. He accepts someone else's friend requests. But, when I go to his page, lo and behold, it still says "friend requested."

Is facebook lying to me (my friend has no idea I'm requesting him) or is my friend really ignoring the red balloon that says he has a request?

  • Is there any way to listen to broadcast radio stations that don't have their own streams?

I live far enough away from certain radio stations that I can't listen to them, and some of them don't simulcast their signal online.

But how hard could it be for someone who DOES live near the station to pick it up on their computer (via FM tuner card) and send it out over the Internet? Also, would this be legal?

  • Best color laser printer for budget?

I really need to limit my spending on this one. Keep in mind that toner is not cheap and I need to pay for that too when I run out. I am willing to shop on eBay/Amazon for toner when I need it.

I was looking at the Samsung CLP-315W and the HP CP1215, which one would be better? Or is there a cheaper option?

  • PNC can't find this bank account?

Okay, so I opened a bank account with PNC a couple years ago when I started college. I rarely used the thing, but that's beside the point. I went to login to my online account manager and could not. So I contacted PNC (toll free and on campus office) but neither could locate my account. They have absolutely no record of it. And I, of course, forgot to bring the paperwork I had gotten when I opened the account. So I have no proof except a bookmark on my browser (why else would it be there) and memories...
