  • Time and money dedication to become an airshow pilot?

How much will it cost and over what time period? I'm taking a ground school class next semester. The only reason I didn't get my pilot's license when I was 16 was because I was spending too much time and money jumping out of planes, but now thats getting a little boring. I want it all... commercial, tail dragger, etc. while I'm still young.

  • Electric Field Physics?

An electric field is produced by applying a potential difference of 400V between two parallel plates spaced 2mm apart. A beam of 20 KeV electrons is sent between the plates on the x-axis.

What is the momentum of the electrons as they enter the space between the plates?

If the plates are .5cm long, what is the change in momentum ((Delta)p sub y) between the time the electrons enter the space and the time they leave?

With no voltage across the plates, the electrons travel on from the plates and strike some point on a screen 15cm away. Turning on the voltage across the plates causes the electrons to strike a different point on the screen. What is the distance between the points of impact on the screen with the voltage on/off

  • Some electrostatics anyone?

Two charges are located on the x axis: q1 = +5.0 µC at x1 = +4.0 cm, and q2 = +5.0 µC at x2 = -4.0 cm. Two other charges are located on the y axis: q3 = +6.0 µC at y3 = +5.0 cm, and q4 = -5.0 µC at y4 = +7.0 cm. Find the net electric field (magnitude and direction) at the origin.
