    2 sin^2x-cosx-1=0

    What is the solution set???

    When i factored i got: -(2 sinx-1)(sinx+1)=0

    sin x= -1/2 and -1

    so isn't it solution set is: pi/3, 5pi/3, and 3pi/2???

    i ended up with x+5 over x+6 > or equal to 0

    x=-5 and x=-6

    so i got domain as ( - infinity, - 5) union [-6, infinity)

    17x-5 over 5x-3 < or equal to 4

    so after solving i ended up with 7x+1 over 5x-3 < or equal to 0

    then i got x = -1/7 and x = 3/5

    my interval notation is (- infinity,- 1/7) union [-1/7, 3/5)

    Find a nth degree polynomial

    n=3; -2 and 8+4i are zeros; f(1)=195

    i tried solving it 3 times already lol i ended up with an=1

    then f(x)=(x+2)(x^2-16x+80)

    so i got, f(x) = x^3-14x^2+40x+160

    but i got it wrong :( please help me in solving this....

    f(x) = 9x-8 and g(x) = x+9 over 8

    a. f(g(x)) = ?

    so... i got f(x+9 over 8) = 9(x+9 over 8) - 8 = ?

    but after that i'm lost what to do lol so please help there....

    then... b. g(f(x))= 9(9x-8) = (9x-8)+9 over 8 = 9x+1 over 8 is this right?

    then c. f and g are inverse or not of each other?
