  • Why is my fish swimming upside down?

My Rasbora fish is swimming upside down. It's alive, but upside-down. A couple days ago it was just sort of resting on the bottom, not moving much but alive; I Googled for some answers, and my best guess is that it's the swim bladder, and I was advised to put it in a separate tank with lower water pressure and not feed it for a few days. I don't have another tank, so I just put it in a ziploc (I put a few holes in it so the water can flow) and secured the ziploc higher in the tank. He's moving around more now, but still upside down. I have like 12 other fish so I can't make radical changes to the tank, but is there anything else I can do for him?

  • Can anyone provide me with a detailed, thorough synopsis of Maureen Daly's "Seventeenth Summer"?

I'm being tested on the book tomorrow, but my copy is no longer readable, and my local bookstores don't stock it (had to special-order this copy). I need lots of details and to know the whole plot. The book is not on sparknotes.

  • What's a good substitute for black beans? In a vegetarian burrito recipe -but not just a similar bean, please.?

I don't like black beans, or similar beans -hate the texture. But, I'm supposed to be making burritos from a recipe that uses them; I don't want another kind of bean that has similar flavour/texture, but I'm wondering what else I could use to fill out the recipe and keep the nutritional values about the same.

    *Must be vegetarian
