What shapes are photons if they have a specific shape?
Photons are generally thought to be spherical, but being packets of energy with no mass (cough cough Mr. K), they really could be any shpae. Do photons have a specific shape that can be measured through experiments? Has it ever been done?

If photons have zero mass, then their energy should be zero by E = m c^2 or E^2 = m^2 c^4 + p^2 c^2 because p = m v. If they have mass, they can't travel at the speed of light.
