2)My wife is an R.N.

3)I will be retired with two government pensions for life

4)We are US.citizens in good standing

Our family situation is a bit unusual. I am 13 years older than my wife and we have a son. He is six years old at present and will be school age for sometime. My wife has family that are Canadian citizens. Her brother, Aunt/Uncle and some cousins all in B.C. We would like to live in Vancouver.

Any advice or tips concerning visa application or types of visas to apply for would be appreciated.

A student brought me a copy of what I think is a Greek coin. These letters of the Greek alphabet were written on it and I am trying to figure out what the name is on the coin or what the meaning is.

Gamma-Epsilon-Lambda-Lambda. Any one out there know the answer to this ? Is it a frat house coin ?

The war is over. We wish to settle in Colombo and put our young son in an international school there. What type of visa would be required ? We are not seeking to work and would just rent. I see on the embassy site that they offer a five year , multiple entry visa , for 180 days then you have to leave and can re-enter for another 180 ( good for business and tourism).

Any information on the cost of living or airlines serving Colombo would be appreciated. ( Ex: are there any government taxes on outside pensions or sources of income ?)
