I recently bought a 2000 s 10, with a stock 4.3 v6 4WD, also its a automatic. i was told by a mechanic that it was possible to beef it up with some upgrades.I am by no means a mechanic myself so i come here seeking your more educated minds about auto's. i was wondering what engine, and im guessing upgrading transmission, and springs, also the rear and im guessing mods for the engine mounts and bay would also be part. just wondering on what would be my best bet engine, transmission etc wise. also where would be the best place to purchase them? is there a well known franchise that i could buy from and also have them install at the same place to make things easier? Any help would be appreciated. Also a price estimation would be helpful as well.
