I have a WD Passport External Hard Drive, 500 GB I believe. Suddenly, it stopped being recognized as Passport :E and now is recognized as Local Disk :E. It may have something to do with the USB cable connecting it, as it's difficult to connect it to the computer and if the wire is touched in the slightest way it disconnects, but when it is connected, as I said, it is not recognized as the same thing. Sometimes, my computer asks me to format it in order for it to work, but I hear this can wipe the hard drive. Should I do this? Will it wipe my hard drive? I have files on there that wouldn't fit on my computer, plus my entire computer backed up, so I would rather not wipe it.

I did a project with a series of different clips and after downloading a codec that fixed the video and audio on most of the clips (neither was playing before) I noticed that the last 4 clips played the video again, but not the audio. They are completely silent. When I click on them separately to play them, the audio plays but when I play them on the timeline the audio doesn't work. And I tried removing them and dragging it onto the timeline again but then it says it can't open the file. And I've tried redownloading those specific clips, but nothing is fixed. Is there anything I can do? Like a codec I can download?

I had downloaded a series of videos from youtube (It was a starkid musical) and edited them together into a whole video file, but now that I reopen the project the video doesnt play. I had deleted Divx player off my computer and the project didnt play the audio or video, and when I redownloaded it, it only plays the audio now. I would really like to not redo all my work, is there anything I can do?

I'm playing Marty in our school musical, which is the School (Or G-rated) Version of Grease. I was wondering if that part where she and Vince Fontaine (the tv show host) flirt is in it. I know it's in the original musical.
