Since my last post, I've gotten a bit more familiar with OOP and how classes work, but after you create and object, what on earth can you do with it?

I've created a couple of programs using just functions and thats it. they're pretty basic programs, one says the lyrics to beer on the wall and you can pick how much beer is on the wall, and the other changes temperatures between kelvin, Celsius and Fahrenheit. So that's my general skill level at this point

I still don't fully understand why you would use classes. I am familiar with the syntax of a class but I don't know when, why, or how to use them.

what are some simple projects just to get used to using classes effectively?

I'm 16 and now that it's summer, I can learn to program. I can write functions or control flow statements and the basic stuff. However, I don't know how to put all of those together to make a working program or script. What exercises can I do so I can put them together and make something.

I bought a used droid razr maxx instead of a samsung galaxy player with intentions to use it as a media player. The guy I got it from restored it to the factory settings and when I turn on the phone it says I need a sim card. Would I be able to use my friend's sim card just to get into the phone then take it out to use it like a media player?

I'm trying to learn to speed read, and I just can't stop subvocalizing, even if I'm saying a - e - i - o - e or counting 12345 I can still "hear" myself subvocalizing.

any other tips are good too.

I'm pretty light, only 116 - 120 lbs and I just get thrashed around in a crosswind. Is there anything I can do to retain my speed and stablitiy?
