I have just been hired to a long-term substitute position in a middle school band. The position begins in a month. I have a degree in trombone, so I have plenty of experience, but the head band director wants me to do some research into how to teach middle school band, particularly brass, particularly high brass (since I already know a lot about low brass!) Does anybody know of any place I could find on the internet that could help me out here? I like on-line stuff because it's free, but if you can think of a low budget alternative that I could use, I'm all ears. Thanks!

It seems that about half the people who use the mathematics stuff have no idea where the plus sign is! For goodness sake people, it's shift =. Right next to the backspace key, which is what you should use to erase the question if you can't figure this one out. Seriously . . .

I just got married, and my wife's parents have completely ruined her credit. They have taken 10 credit cards out in her name; I know it's fraud, and I could sue them, but I don't want to do that so please don't just suggest that. My credit is great; I think my credit score is like in the 900s. Is there anything we can do to ensure that my good credit doesn't go away because of her bad credit?
