I have a horse that I believe is a Paint mix that drags his feet and trips over them. I've used ground poles but that didn't seem to help him. Please help he has tripped at a canter and flung me over his head... not something I would like to do again. Also please no rude comments.

My dogs leg has had a huge sore on it and its been like this for a very long time. We took her to the vet when it first happened and they told us that it was from her licking it so they gave us antibiotics and some cream to put on it (can't remember what it was) and told us not to wrap it up that it would make it worse. She got the med. every day in the morning and at night when we went to bed for about a month and it didn't help it. I put peroxide on it for a few weeks and it helped and it healed almost all the way. Now this past year it has not only come back but it came back 10 times worse. I've soaked it in sea salt, put peroxide on it and wrapped it up even though the vet said not to and that didn't help and now I've run out of ideas. I thought it might be because of arthritis because she's getting older but she doesn't seem to be walking stiffly and she get children's motrin and it doesn't help. So if you have any ideas about what to do please tell me.

I have a 10 year old pinto who I ride in a copper curb. I have ridden him in a snaffle but he freaked so I went back to the curb. I can ride him perfectly with just a halter and he listens really well. I used a mechanical hackamore on him and he did good for about a week and then he stopped turning so I went back to the curb. I have ridden him with a loop around his nose for a while and he was perfect like with the halter. If I used a Bosel instead of a Mechanical would it work better? Anyone know?(Not sure all the speling is correct or if its even the right name its just what I call them)

I am trying to figure out what breed my horse is because when I bought him I was 11 and didn't really care but now I'm really sorry I didn't ask. Here is a couple of pictures of him
