i'm writing a book and i'm trying to pick where it should take place and i was thinking australia. i already know some of the history timelines like the measles epidemic, and the penal colony and the fighting between the aborigine and the settlers but i need to know how the day to day life was like back in 1870. what were the women like? were there any cool superstitous stories? did they also act with the same victorian mannerisms as london did back then?

i dyed my hair black a while ago and i really love it but i'd like to try that velvet red type color that ariana grande has. is there somewhere that i can find hair dye that washes out in like a month or something? or a sample dye that washes out in like a week or two? where can i find it (if it exists)

i love to write and i always put ttogether a plotline before iwrite but i seem to have trouble getting from one point to the other seamlessly. does anyone have some tips for this and the occasional writers block?

the opening scene to my book starts with a witch doing a spell. it's not really the black magic type of thing--more like the Vampire Diaries type of witches where all of the witches have deep connections to mother nature and everything like that and i just need someone to help me describe the casting of a spell with sensory terms and adjectives please??

i'm writing a story where a black vampire lore writer get accidentally turned into a vampire (ironic isnt it?) and she's described as being sweet-tempered and curious and has kinky curls and is pretty tall and has a friendly smile and hazel-brown eyes--both physically and personality-wise i guess she's kinda like Rue from Hunger Games.

i got a betta fish a few days ago and i never owned one before so i looked up his breed--he's a half moon betta from petsmart--and i noticed his tail doesn't look the same as the ones in the pictures. he's blue-and-white and his tail looks like he's been in a scrap because it looks jagged and it looks like he has a bid ole tare in it. can someone offer some explanation why? is he a diffrent breed than what they told me or did he ruff himself up? he's swimming fine but his tail still worries me--he's be alright right?

my characters names are daemon(pronounced like damen) and Emile(male version of emily). they're italian brothers living in the french quarter and i need a last name that sounds cool with their names but i'm also looking for the last name to end with an "E" (like the name Torre, but i can't use that since i already used it for another character). so and italian name that ends with e? (i'm having trouble finding them on websites)

im writing a vampire story but im trying to stay away from the whole "Pretending to be in high school" thing. it takes place in the french quarter of new orleans and i had an idea that my main characters meet at the mayor's bday ball but idk if the mayor has a designated house (like the wh9ite house or the governer's mansion) or if the mayor's office is in the french quarter. does it sound reasonable to have a fictional mayor living in the french quarter throwing a bday ball for himself on royal street? if not can anyone thing of some high-society/ high-power people that would do what i just described?
