  • what's the least expensive 7" tablet with a front facing camera?

Looking for my mom who is 92. She will use it to skype with extended family, read emails, search the web, and maybe read books. Suggestions? The fewer features the better.

  • can I hang short sheers under long side panels?

I have a 96" window in my living room with a heating vent in the center near the floor. I really like the look of the grommeted drapes and would like to install them with the energy efficiency for nighttime. Can I hang 63" sheers under them so I would have privacy but light in daytime or will that look dumb?

  • How can I use my droid most cost effectively on a Carnival Cruise ship Destiny?

We are taking a Cruise on Carnival Destiny. I have a Droid (pretty new to it). I know there are calling charges, wifi, mobile, roaming, text, email, phone calls, data charges, etc. I'm having trouble making sense of it. I called Verizon -my carrier - they told me $20 per megabyte of data, $3 per minute phone calls. Less than $1 for texts (in and out). Is there a charge for by the cruise ship. Should I do something to the phone to save money? Should I use a computer on board the ship to get email? Would it be better to take my old phone - not a smart phone but still activated? Would I be better to take a laptop and communicate via email? Can my kids use their phones to stay in contact with me on the ship? Just wondered how other families cope in this electronic age...
