  • Looking to finish Durarara?

So I really liked the anime and finally got around to trying to finish the story online, but haven't been able to find anything beyond someplace before even the anime ended (chapter 21 I think). According to Wikipedia the manga doesn't seem to go beyond the Saika arc, which I think is still before the end of the anime.

I'm guessing that means the light novels are the only way to go at this point, but I haven't been able to find them anywhere, officially or unofficially translated. Baka-Tsuki only goes a few chapters into the first one, so that's a no-go. Anyone know where I would want to look? I know I've heard of some people who know how it goes after the anime, so I figure there must be translated versions somewhere. Don't suppose anyone else has tried finishing the series?

  • Is the 17x(your weight) formula for how many Calories to eat per day accurate?

I've heard around the internet that the best way to determine how many calories a day you should eat is 17 times your weight if you're moderately active and 20 times your weight if you're very active. But I'm worried that doesn't work when you get to higher weights. Just some background:

I'm 6'1'' and about 210 pounds last I was able to weigh myself. I've been getting to the gym roughly 5-6 times a week for the past month and a half or so (which is a big improvement over the previous couple times a year). I usually manage about 45 minutes of straight cardio with my heart rate between 160 and 180 for most of the time.

Anyways, I figure that puts me at at least moderately active, but even then the number would come out to like 3,570. That seems pretty high. For the past month I've been shooting for about 1,800 to 2,200 and mostly getting somewhere around there. Am I not eating enough? Does that formula actually work? Or is that more for lower weights?

  • What's up with Ditto safaris in Pokemon X/Y?

I've seen a lot of people looking for them here and elsewhere and I'm just curious what that's all about. I would imagine it has something to do with breeding, but is there something special about safari Dittos? Because as far as I know they're not really that uncommon in the game. I found one pretty quickly. Do they have special IV/shiny properties like foreign ones or something?

  • Is this a common glitch in Skyrim?

So I just killed the first dragon in a new Skyrim file and right after found that I'm now locked into one vertical level. If I run into a hill I'll just go through it and if I run off a cliff I'll just be floating. Jumping doesn't really work anymore, the animation starts but then stops immediately so I never go anywhere. I tried fast traveling and save/reloading but that didn't change it. Whichever elevation I'm at right after fast traveling is the one I'm locked at.

I have an autosave I can use that isn't too far back so it's nothing to really worry about. I kind of don't even want to fix it for novelty's sake. I'm just curious if this is actually a common thing or not.

  • Undoing hair damage caused by bad care habits?

Okay, so I've got a decent sized afro but have never actually looked into how to take care of it until very recently. Having done so now, I've realized that I've done almost everything wrong besides using bad shampoos (mostly because I neglected washing it a lot).

Anyways, I'm thinking that my hairline's weird shape is probably caused or at least exacerbated by the fact that I would always run a pick through it really hard to get the tangles out. It's always tangled a lot and the front sides are usually the worst part in terms of length, so I tended to pick that part out even harder than other places. A lot of people say that damages the roots and can make the hairline start moving back early, so I just want to ask, is this reversible? I'm trying to take much better care of it but I just started so I don't expect to see anything yet. Is there a chance it'll grow back? It's not at a horrible point or anything (and it might not even be caused by this) but I'd still like to see it improve if I can. If I take better care from now on, could it improve or is the damage already done?

  • Bad hair parting for braids?

(Prefacing this with the fact that I'm half black and a guy)

So I've got a moderately sized afro and have been looking into getting my hair braided in a sort of dreadlock type style. Nothing fancy, just sort of going downward on both sides. I would go with actual dreads but the commitment kind of freaks me out. Anyways, I've noticed lately that when I pull my hair apart at the center, the place where my hair parts looks like a long, zig-zaggy bald spot. I never really noticed because my hair always covered it naturally, but now it may be an issue.

I have next to no experience with this, so first I guess I'd want to ask, is that normal? Should it look anything like that? And also, would braids be a bad idea for someone with a parting like that?
