I heard that the graph splits in the amount of cores your CPU has, but my processor is apparently a dual core, but its split into 4. So it is actually quad or am I missing somthing?

CPU: Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30 GHz

My little sister has a netbook, one day she turned it on and windows wouldnt boot, it would be a blank screen for awhile and then says the following files are missing or corrupt: Windows/System32/Config/System

It says you can fix this problem put run the original start up disk, we cant do that because It didnt come with one and it doesnt even have a disk drive. nothing happens when you press 'r' at start up, IT just goes into a boot loop. Can anyone tell me how to fix this so it works again? Its Windows XP HE and its her pride and joy thanks. Ill add info if nessesary, thanks!

I have a full HD TV with 3 HDMI ports. I am currently using it as a monitor for my pc as it a pc port on it.

If I buy one of them PC HDMI leads, could I output in the top HD resolution? My PC does support HDMI btw.

My friend has a Dell inspiron 1545 and whenever he trys to boot his pc, It will show the dell sign, then restart again! He said he cant get it to boot from cd, and cant get far enough in the boot process to launch into safe mode.

He also said 1 time it got to the point of his cursor on the screen, but nothing else would happen, he left it for 3 hours.

He said he started happening after he forced shutdown his laptop the day before.

Can anyone explain what the problem is and a way too fix it? Thanks

I have to send this disk to my friend with the Windows 7 OS on it, trouble is, it is not RW so there are picture on it with. His laptop is completed wiped so it will need to be booted from this disk. Will the PC ignore the pictures and go to the setup file, or will mess up and not install?

It's 10:30pm right now, I need the day off school tomorrow, or else I will have after school detention everyday until Xmas. However, if I don't go tomorrow, I'm good! For the last 30mins, I have been putting my finger down my throat to be sick, I gag to the point of vomit, but nothing comes up? Is there a certain way to do it? If so how. Well, I get asked at school "Why are you shaking" I feel like im shaking and it don't look like i am from my eye, but alot of people say i do, There is times where i do realise im shaking, im not nervous or anything, I just shake and can control it?

Is there anything i can do to stop this? Because im sick of it
