  • I am very bored in school and need suggestions for making school seem more challenging and dealing with crappy teachers.?

My question is slightly misleading but just bare with me for a second. I find school challenging, but not in the right way. The kind of challenge that I encounter is that there is a lot of work and not enough time to do the work. This is especially hard since I go to a school where there is a huge emphasis put on this kind of challenge. I had a similar problem last year and actually spoke to a teacher about it, only to find that she didn't care. I then got into a long fight, if it can be called a fight, with her where everyday, me and a friend would just do something ridiculous such as bringing lemons and eating them like apples in the middle of class, or asking really hard to answer questions as much as we could, a strategy that nearly got us detention. This continued until the teacher eventually, unable to find something that we were doing that broke a rule that had been explicitly laid down, gave a new seating chart. I asked her where my new seat was and she pointed vaguely at the other side of the classroom. I sat where I thought she pointed but apparently that was not my seat. Her telling me to go to my real assigned seat apparently counted as a warning. I then made the same mistake and she gave me detention on the grounds that I ignored her warning. The whole thing made me slightly unwilling to talk to teachers about this kind of stuff. I want to avoid such pissing matches while still being challenged by school. Sorry for the long details/story. Anything helps.

  • I will be building a new system soon. looking for a good mid-tower. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I will be building a new system soon and the only component that I haven't made a choice about is the case. I was looking for a mid tower case cuz I just need it to be able to hold an ATX motherboard and mid-towersare often cheaper than full towers. I am not looking for crazy amounts of space for water cooling but the opportunity to add a small water-cooling setup at some point in the future. As I said I will be using an ATX motherboard. I want decent airflow because I will be gaming and I want my components to have decent cooling . I was also looking for a recommendation on a couple of case fans so that I might be able to put one or two fans in my new case. My budget is $150 for the case and the case fans. If I can't get a decent pair of case fans at the same time as a decent case that's fine, just let me know and give me the case recommendation anyway. I am currently looking at the Corsair Carbide Air 540 which already comes with some good fans or the NZXT phantom 410. Thank you.

  • I am going to get a new system soon and I don't know what graphics card to get.?

My budget is about $300 and the processor I have decided on is an i5-4670k and I plan on slotting in 8 gigabytes of DDR3 RAM if that matters. I can adjust my choice of power supply based on the suggestion of graphics card. I want tho play the latest games at at least 30fps on highest settings. I understand that this may not be possible with my current budget and if so please let me know but I would still appreciate the suggestions of graphics cards that would fit my current budget and please tell me which graphics card I would need to accomplish my goal and the cost of that option. Thank you and have a nice day. :)

  • lokking for a good mid-tower pc chassis.?

I will be building a system soon and I have yet to decide which chassis to get. I want a mid-tower chassis that has a decent amount of input on the front and decent airflow and all of that shtick. It really just needs to be of decent quality and have support for a standard ATX mobo.My budget is $70 (as some cheap chassis are in that price range but their quality is questionable) at the least but I understand that good cases aren't cheap so I am willing to spend as much as $140. Currently looking at the latest corsair vengeance model.Thank you and have a nice day.

  • I will be building a computer soon and I am not entirely sure what components I should use . Any suggestions?

I already have a case (NZXT phantom 830) and I don't plan on adding a graphics card for a few months so I need a CPU with decent integrated graphics ( either an AMD APU or a Haswell/Haswell E Intel CPU) until I can afford a graphics card. I would also like the newest PCI slots on the motherboard so my graphics card will be better when I do get one. My budget is $700-$800. If not buying a power supply or some other cheap part immediately will help me afford it that is fine. I am not looking for peripherals right now so just the actual components. I will be using this system for school, gaming, and everyday activities. Don't factor in the cost of the OS. Thanks and have a nice day.
