  • How many of you that are TTC are just sick to death of all the pregnant couples?

I'm trying to be happy and stuff, but I had a frickin breakdown yesterday. My husband and I are trying for a year, and I've been to the doctor, got diagnosed with PCOS, and his sister and her husband just told everyone that she is 6 weeks along. I think they tried for a month. That's IT. Now, my sister-in-law (brother's wife) is in labor, and I'm waiting to hear from them.

All around me, I see pregnant women. It's hard not to just give up and say "screw it".

How is everyone else handling things?

  • i need your expert opinion?

My husband is being evil, and teasing me about my present. he says that it's "small enough to fit in my hand, but too big for the apartment". what the HELL could it be? any opinions? this is just for fun, nothing serious. i actually like surprises. our place is almost 1000 square feet, if you care to know. and i have small hands, lol.

  • Any Dachshund owners find that their "low-riders" tend to get a lot of bites and "things" on the chest?

We have a mini-dachshund who's 2 years old. No matter where we take him, he seems to get bug bites, ant bites, you name it. We took him to the dog park, and his chest was COVERED in ant bites. They've healed, but he gets all these other bites as well. we've stopped taking him to the park, but even the areas in our neighborhood are crazy. Has anyone else had this problem?

  • Did anyone have these symptoms?

Quick rundown for you ladies...Hubby and I are TTC, and dealing with PCOS. For the past few days, I've been having to run back and forth to the bathroom (not throwing up), and having HORRIBLE gas pains. Also, burping like crazy, and it's FOUL. I'm just wondering if anything like that matched any symptoms that you have had. Or, if it's just me over-thinking things. Don't want to waste a test when my period isn't due for a bit.

  • Anyone else hate the little "hints" that the new format for YA uses?

I'm answering questions, and all of a sudden, up pops a little "hint", asking if i forgot to undo the Caps Lock button. all i did was capitalize ONE WORD to stress something.... Then, because of the "..." that i use, it tells me that I've used too much punctuation. I pride myself on grammar, but these little "reminders" make me want to throw my computer out the window.

  • How did you feel when diagnosed with PCOS?

To all of the TTC women, how did you feel? I was just told today that my OBGYN suspects PCOS for me. 3 hours later, my younger brother calls me to tell me that his wife is 3 months pregnant. Today has NOT been a good day. How did you cope? Baby dust to all...

  • A question for the small dog owners?

For all those of you that have "low-rider" dogs (doxies, chis, corgis, etc), how hard is it to walk them? I have a mini-dach, and whenever we walk him, he sniffs EVERYWHERE, and won't walk like normal. Since he's so low to the ground, he won't look up long enough to walk. It's very frustrating for us. Do you use a "gentle-leader" harness, or what else could we use? I know that dogs love sniffing, etc, and we're fine with that, but if I'm trying to take him out for a quick walk, then it's a bit hard.
