    Success

Son, you have accomplished many goals

and there are many steps ahead of you.

I know you, you will succeed because

you have the strength to endure the long race.

What is success, you asked one day

you were small and had heard the word

in a movie. First, I said, achieving

what you set out to do, and doing it well.

Two years went by, what is success?

    A famous guardian of wealth disappeared;

he was not successful, he was a criminal.

He should have been honorable and valiant.

    Reach for the outermost stars

    never forget the ten commandments

    live righteously and never cheat

you will be a successful person.

This, my son, is what I know you to be.

Live by your word, honor what you say.

Never quit, learn more, give your all.

This is the man you are, I see it everyday.

  • Will you C /C my first draft poem inspired by THE BANNIBAL ONE?

    Inspiration: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=201105...

    Voodoo

based on The Bannibal One's Narlens

Way down south in New Orleans

when there was a voodoo queen

    brewing, stirring was going fine,

    till somebody spiked her wine.

There was a moment of shock

when the music turned to Bach.

No more drums were beating loud

a murmur in the giant crowd.

Saw her eyes swell up and smelled a stench,

Her spell backfired; her body wrenched.

Never say no one warned you,

of the witches in the blue bayou.
