Hello,

I am currently a junior who lives out of state, which already puts me at a disadvantage. However, I have always gotten straight A's with the occasional B+ (Maybe 2 or 3 per year). I do take 2 AP classes this year and I in one of them (AP U.S. History) I have received straight A's (94%). However, in AP Calculus, first marking period I received the first C+ of my life (79%) However second marking period I got A- and third marking period I got another A- (90%). Other than that I have gotten all A's and A+'s. My GPA is 4.65/5 and my SAT scores are 1900 (I am going to retake them at least one more time to try to boost my score a little bit). I am currently involved in 4 clubs (FBLA, French Club, SADD, and History Bowl) and 4 Honor Societies (National Honor Society, French HS, History HS, English HS). Next year, I will be eligible for a leadership position and I am definitely going to do so (probably President or Vice President of the History or French Honor Societies). I have at least 200 hours of community service through my town's library and I tutor two students in math (6th grade and 10th grade). Over the summer I attended the National Student Leadership Conference at Fordham University, where in 10 days we completed rigorous work and built essential business qualities. Thats about it. Chapel Hill has always been my dream school and I really want to go there. What would you say are my chances of getting in?

This new Yahoo Mail is just AWFUL!!! not only do I not have "forward/reply" arrows visible - I have to slide around aimlessly until it magically appears - I now have lost at least 1/2 of my contacts! What is going on with this??? If they don't do something about this very soon I am leaving yahoo for good!
