compaq presario 2100 wont boot up?
when i attempt to boot my laptop (presario 2100) it attempts to read from hd but skips it and goes into the 'PXE'(?) then after a while of ticking over it reads 'no operating system' i have looked online and many people have had the same problem, though unlike them i have not changed my hd at all. i have tried all i can think of and am still unable to load anything
have attempted to use my copies of the recovery disk but i think they may be defective. i have an external hd but my computer wont install windows onto that either in the BIOS i have tried a number of 'Boot' configurations (cd/hd/internal LAN & internal hd are my only options)
whats going on????
