5'2, 118lbs, do I need to lose weight?
I'm currently 5'2 and 118lbs, I eat around 300-500 calories a day, I mean, I don't have breakfast because I usually don't have time, and I don't eat in school. When I get home I usually have rice, sushi or noodles. Just basic filling food.
I'm aware that I eat very little, but I have been for months and I've lost quite a bit of weight. But lately I've been binging a lot and I need to lose 10lbs in like 40 days, it's affecting me slightly mentally, I used to go days without eating but I've been eating every day lately, little but I'm still eating. People around me are dieting too and that's triggering me to starve again.
I excersize too, how can I lose 10lbs quicker?

I'm currently in a situation where I'm struggling with food, some days I can eat uncontrollably, and sometimes I count up every single calorie, sometimes I go days without eating.
I binged for 2 weeks straight and got incredibly depressed, then I starved for a few days, and binged again.
I gained 5 pounds. I need to lose it, but I don't want to get even more ill, so I want to try and eat every day, but only one meal (usually rice and vegetables or fruit) if I did this most days would I lose 5 pounds in a couple of weeks?
Or maybe more?

I'm aware a lot of it is down to their diet, and how they walk a lot ect.
But their diet is legit built up of carbs. Rice every single day.
If I were to eat a bowl of brown rice, with vegetables and fish every single day (and that's it [obviously different things in the rice] and occasionally soup)
Would I be as thin as a typical japanese woman?

Like, a lot of people fear it. Obviously eating loads of it every day along with other solid foods will obviously make you gain weight.
But if you had a small amount say, every fortnight and ate between 0-400 calories every. (Mostly 0) would you gain weight?

I have really bad chocolate cravings,
Basically I didn't eat sunday - thursday.
I ate Thursday. I had 2 rice cakes. Course I'm hungry, it's now Friday, I'm not eating today either. From this I've lost 9lbs already. Tomorrow, if all I eat is dark chocolate (like half of a 400g bar) will I put on weight?
(Btw tomorrow is Saturday and on Sunday I'm going out for a meal with my family I'm having soup. That's all. I won't binge afterwards. I never binge)

Basically I've been fasting for 98 hours, in my food journal today was an eating day. I put 'rice cakes (plain) with jam x2' so I ate that.
A little later I made a microwave brownie out of boredom and ate it, I wasn't supposed to eat it but I did. (4tbs of flour, 4 tbs of sugar, 5tbs of water, 1tbs of oil) also I had 6 grapes.
I feel so unbelievably fat. It hurts. Oh my god.
How many calories would you say was in all of this food? I wanna cry. I ate so much 😭😭😭

I think I have an eating disorder, my mom has started to notice me apparently "loosing weight" and "not eating"
I haven't eaten in 96 hours and I'm still motivated to continue fasting.
To me there's this:
Food > Fat
No food > Skinny
That's it.
And it's horrible, I see chocolate I think omfg I want that, I pick it up, I can't force myself to buy it, or any food.
Jesus christ I would rather be overweight than like this. I just want to eat again.
(I don't eat in school) and all my friends say that I'm always dizzy and tired because I don't eat, which is correct, but they say it's my fault, and they're always blaming me, I wish i did have control of this.
My mom said 'I'm gonna make you a meal everyday, it'll be healthy, or else I'll have to take you to the doctors'
I've been like this (progressively getting worse) for the past 3 months and I don't know what to do. When I started "dieting" I was 9 stone 6, now I'm 7 stone 13.
I don't want to get help because I'm still fat
But I do... Because I want to be normal.
How do I help myself slowly?

Okay so my mom came home with granola, even though I asked for raisinless muesli. Anyway, the granola she bought was very high in calories and contained honey. I can't eat honey I'm vegan. For some reason I'm really really annoyed???
I'm planning on binning it so I don't binge eat it because I have really crazy cravings right now and I know I'm capable of it. Should I bin it?! I feel really weird. Maybe I should get some sleep. But I'm scared when I wake up I'll start to binge eat it and I don't want to. In fact I don't want to eat anything at all.

I want to be vegan, I've been considering it for the past 4 and a half months, I guess since lately I've been starving myself because ed's.
I'm not saying just because I'm vegan I'm gonna automatically drop 10 pounds and be happy. But I just want to be vegan you know, lifestyle.
I do fast a lot... But I'm trying to stop, and when I do eat (rarely) I usually eat cereal (muesli or branflakes stuff) or vegetables and fish or fruit.
Do I need to take supplements if I were to be vegan?
Any tips?

I was talking with a friend, and my friend said;
'Anorexics have it so easy, I mean, they're skinny, and they eat as much as they like in recovery.'
Okay. So I don't know, I'm not anorexic. But is that true?
I mean I know they need to eat a certain amount to fully recover, (which must be difficult so I give them that credit)
But like, can they literally eat all that food without gaining weight??
(I saw a post on Instagram and this girl was like 'just a snack' and it was like 2 pints of Ben and jerrys and chocolate and everything)
Just a question, why don't they get fat because of it??

If I eat 300 calories every day each week and sometimes fast, and on Sundays just binge eat ice cream so my metabolism isn't so meh will I still lose weight?

I've been starving myself for a while but I've read a lot and I want to sort of recover from starving myself before I get ill. Obviously it's hard but anyway, would this diet help me lose weight or gain weight? (Currently 118lbs and 5'3 - also don't tell me I need to put on weight or I'm fine just answer my question)
Breakfast: Branflakes and semi skimmed milk with raspberries
Lunch: Banana and Peanut butter
Dinner: small portion Brown rice and vegetables
Snack: Nutrition Bar
(just drinking water and maybe coffee in the morning)
See I want to be able to eat this much, but it's hard for me and idk why.

Lately I've been really stressing about what I eat, if I eat over 300 I start to sort of, melt down, and I cry. And I hate myself so much when I do, and in general really..
This all started when I tried to lose weight because apparently I are too much. So I stopped eating eat other than fish, (pescatarian) and I just sort of stopped eating chocolate and sugared things. Some days I fast, and lately when I think about eating it just sort of stresses me out. In the supermarket I'm like 'mm ice cream' and I pick it up usually just look at it, put it back and walk away. Sometimes I find it hard to actually buy fruit, becasye I fear that will make me fat too. And I'm kind of scared that I'll be like this forever, because I don't. I just wanted to lose a bit of weight I didn't realise it would lead to this. I want to tell my mum that I'm having problems eating, but I'm scared. Mainly because I still need to lose weight, but I'm just so stressed and I don't know why.
What do I do?

I was thinking about doing the abc diet, I eat at least 300 calories most days anyway, at most 600 on days when I slip up and binge.
don't tell me about health risks I am aware!!!
Anyway, I'm on day 2, and 500 calories is so much, for me. And it's just so difficult because I feel uncomfortable being told how many calories to eat, I'm used to planning out my meals in advance knowing what I have in and my "snacks" are usually under 300 cal.
Does this diet actually stop you going into "starvation mode" and hoe much weight could you potentially lose?
I've been told by a few people I'm on the 'brink of an eating disorder' and this diet actually contains more calories than I'm originally used to eating that's why it looks so hard. But I also want to do it to lose weight and potentially push myself into eating more.
So does this diet work? Could I lose 23lbs in 50 days? I really want to.
After the diet I probably won't put it all back on again, but I'm scared, I probably might only do 2-3 weeks if I have to eat A LOT because yup.
And if it's effective.
So has anyone done it? Does it make you lose weight?

I'm really depressed about my weight, I'm currently 123lbs. I've been starving myself an awful lot.
People have noticed. My family call me "skinny" (I'm far far from skinny)
I'm 5'3", and I'm 13.
Sometimes I can't actually get myself to eat. A lot of the time when I do eat, it'll be small and I'll try to burn off all of the calories.
Some days I have slip ups where I eat a lot, like today,
I had a large strawberry yogurt, small blueberry yogurt, 2 slices of bread, a boiled egg, and a lot of dry cereal.
Purely snacking.
Every day I look at my body and cry.
I don't want to be anorexic, never.
But I can't eat normally again because I hate myself so much, and the thought of never being good enough hurts.
I really want to kill myself, but of course I won't do that. Because I'm 13 years old and I'm not exactly stupid. But that's how I feel.
My mum has noticed I've hardly been eating, whenever she cooks for me I hide the food. She hasn't noticed.
I guess I just want to know a way I can lose weight, but potentially safer than now.
Like, a weekly food plan.
That would help a lot.

I'm aware you go into what's called "starvation mode" after fasting for periods of time. So, when ana people actually fast instead of it burning their fat they actually get fatter?
I don't understand because the majority of anorexic people are really thin. But they fast a lot.
I also read somewhere else that they eat a small amount of something, eg; an apple. And then they burn off those calories. Would this help them lose weight? Do they do that with all of the food they eat? I'm aware whenever they do eat it's never a large intake. But do they? Btw this is purely out of curiosity, because me and a work colleague were discussing it into depth so I just wanted to make sure of some things.

This morning I woke up, I had coffee. I went for a walk, I got back had another coffee and had blueberry yogurt and blueberries. I went out for a little while, walking about. (A lot of walking) and then at 9pm I sat down and had a little more yogurt. That's all I ate today. (I didn't eat yesterday) why do I feel so fat?! Was that a lot to eat in one day?!

I usually get my motivation for not eating for a day if I see super skinny people, or sometimes It physically hurts to eat. Sometimes I just can't bring myself to eat.
And it sort of hurts.
