I wonder if you were expecting me to put anything here, given you've read my posts and made a 'person' in your head... Sorry, can't entertain you.

  • What sleeping pills would you recommend?

When there's no deadline on the amount of time I can sleep in I almost always sleep fine. But when it's a school night I really start to freak out because I know I can only sleep in so muc, and end up staying awake(like now) no matter what I try and do to relax. It's stupid, but it has kept happening for absolutely ages so that I am never getting enough sleep on weekdays. Is there anything I can take to make this a little easier for me? Thanks.

  • When you feel nostalgia for happy times that are past, were those times always happy?

Do you always feel it for things and times that you valued, or can it appear as a sort of trick?

  • Can a f*cked up relationship still grow and change in a positive way when the people are separate from another?

Im talkng about my dad and I. Im 17 ought now, and my mum lives in another century from my dad.

Are people's separate processes and their changing attitudes towards the other person as they change/ grow enough?

I'm asking his because my dad wants me to stay in the country and go to counselling sessions with him- but I can't stand him at the moment. He makes me so scared and angry and I feel he wants to control me.

Would some time away from him to think be a good thing for me, or would I be neglecting the growth of our relationship/my own personal development? I am asking this because this is what he seems to think, but the mere idea of having to trust him and open up to him in a counseling session is like hacking off a limb to me

  • I keep randomly wondering if people I know are dead?

E.g. If someone I know is late, I suddenly think "maybe they're dead", and I feel nothing about it- then a kind of shock at what I just thought. It seems to happen a few times a day- depends how much of the time I don't know where the people I know are.

Does this mean anything? Mildly interested here.

  • I don't need as much sleep when I have a cold as when I'm healthy?

I'm really curious about this. I seem to be able to get by with 6 hours of sleep when I'm sick, whereas I normally need at least 8. I've been eating differently (ie just salad and fruit) and been sitting around doing nothing if that's relevant...

  • Why. Does. My. Hair. Keep. Falling. Out.?

I go to the school bathroom, start running my fingers through my hair and before I know it the toilet bowl and seat is covered with hair. I feel surreal.

I lose probably around and handful of hair or two(scrunched up- I hope you get what I mean) per day, and I have about half the amount of hair I had a month ago, which is when I started losing it.

I'm 17 years old, and a girl. It might be relevant that 4 months ago my family left the country and I went and lived with my step- grandparents, which I found stressful and still do- anyway, I heard that the state of your hair now reflects the state of your body 3 months previously. Don't know if it's got any relevance, though.

I eat a balanced diet- lots of fruit and veg, some milk, legumes etc. Don't eat meat, but i'm pretty sure that's not a factor as i've been doing it for a few years. I have recently started taking iron- enriched multi vitamins, but so far no improvement.

  • What method should I use to determine a healthy weight range for teenagers?

Sorry to ask this again, but I keep getting really vague answers.

Percentile: based on you compared with other people your age (I think), and here you can have a lower bmi and still be classified as healthy

Bmi: The standard method of mass/height where teens have to have a higher bmi in order to be classified as healthy.

Basically i've read online that calculating bmi is not a reliable method for teens (and children, actually), but I've seen it used for teens a lot in this section. Maybe some one with experience can explain? Thank you. :-)

What I mean is this kind of thing- try typing in 'adolescent bmi calculator', and you'll come up with similar stuff. http://www.weightconcern.com/node/9

  • I have a person living inside me that I can switch to at will?

If I'm experiencing a certain situation, often I jump into his shoes in a parallel universe. Sometimes I can't separate myself from him and feel extremely self- conscious and I don't feel clear that I am only the 'me' that I know in this world. Often it's like I'm being watched- just like I'm watching him and our actions/ emotions are synchronous with each other. Most often it's entertaining and diverting, though.

He is not a separate character from me that I have created but is one that I directly sympathize with as if I am experiencing the world from his point of view, and yet I kind of love him too.

The things he is experiencing seem very real and are always connected to something I'm going through in my own life, and whenever something happens to me I instantly switch over to it's impact on him.

What is this? I've been having it since I was little, though I used to switch characters much more often, and in the past few months the character has become much more integrated with my own identity.

Don't answer saying "get a boyfriend". "Write a book" would flatter me but telling me i'm mental is also something I'm open to, if you've got proof.

I'm 17 years old and female.

  • Who, What, When, Why and How is this film?

    Bloody 20 character requirement.

    It's set in India.

Two english women, a mother (I think) and a daughter.

Daughter has got a fiancee she's not very keen on- one time he says goodnight at her bedroom door and she says goodnight back in a slightly edgy way.

Daughter bikes to these statues of Indian Gods and Goddesses doing sexy stuff with each other, then is chased away by monkeys.

After visiting a massive dark echoey cave with a young Indian guy, she gets scared of how ancient and massive it is and afterwards becomes convinced that he raped her.

There is an entire court case about it.

The guy decides he hates white people.

Don't want to ruin anything for those who have yet to see it, but can anyone tell me what it is? Saw it when i was a little kid.
