  • Dog keeps excaping collar/ harness etc?

I have a female Am Staff that keeps escaping her collar when I let her out on a tie out or even a leash. I have tried harnesses but she takes them off and it doesn't matter how tight they fit across her. She is the ultimate escape artist!. She digs out of jumps my fence, I even have a 12ft high kennel that she literally climbs out of. She is a great dog otherwise and if I'm outside with her she stays put, she stays with me when we walk even off leash and doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body but I'm afraid the if I have to leave her outside while I'm gone one day something bad is going to happen. I just paid 45 dollars for a fitted leather harness that worked for two days now she has found a way to get out of it. She even takes off slip collars or choke collars. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to keep her in a collar or harness. Funny thing is she just won her first agility competition at the training kennel I have taken her for classes. She is behaved and wonderful except for this little issue. There has to be a way to keep a collar or harness on her so she can go out on a runner ! There has to be a way! Any help is appreciated!

  • Parvo question? Please help?

I have a 9mo old APBT that has caught parvo. I took her to the vet and had her diagnosed, she caught it from the neighbors puppy who just passed away today. She had her first two sets of boosters and the vet said it might not become life threatening but I have never had a dog catch this before and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the virus and how to help her through this. I can't loose her she means the world to me.

  • I have a female Boxer/Border Collie mix that is being accused of being a Pitt how can I prove she isn't?

She is an excellent dog well mannered with children, pets etc. However my neighbors are complaining that I brought a Pitt Bull into the neighborhood. Her nose is more narrow than a Pitt's and she has long lean legs. I just don't know how to convince them that she is not what they think she is. If I can't find away to defend her I have to give her up. Any advice would be appreciated.
