I want to go to boston university and I need figure out how much it is going to cost me. Assuming I get in of course.

Now I know the price of BU is around 60k a year, and well that is outright outrageous.

I would like an estimate of how much money I could receive as aid for college, and if any other ways are possible to make money.

I don't think I will get any scholarships for academic success as my gpa is boarding 3.0.

My family income combined is roughly 80k, which wouldn't be able to cover my expenses even if they starved and only spent money on my education (isn't taxes a b*tch?)

So I need to figure out how much I could possibly get for aid, and how much I need to figure to get, discuss, beg, etc etc.

So a rough estimate of aid for a 80k/year student would be great.

I am wondering if two packs of cigarettes per year will impact me in a major way?

I know even one cigarette will be bad for me, but it can't be too bad.

I am not currently smoking, but don't bother trying to convince me not to or tell me crap about it. I know what I'm doing, but I don't know exactly how impactful each cigarette will be.

I'm basically boarder lining the UC gpa requirement, at a 3.04 being the gpa a-g classes excluding freshmen year. I currently have a 1600 for Sat, but I am taking it again with the intent of around 1900. I am also on the progress of writing my personal statement, which I think it quite good, being about hardships of my environment and my ability to adapt to most situations (in case theres a factor of what your choose to write about). I am a senior, and I am taking calc. at the moment as my only AP class. I also got a D in my enriched english class in freshmen year but I am taking two english classes this year to make up for it. I also had some community service for about 24 hours, but that was just for the hell of it.

I ask whats the best UC I could possibly get into, and what colleges should I apply to, and any advice you could give me would be much appreciated. If it matters, I plan to major in Psychology, alternative in computer science.

P.S. What are my odds with a CSU?

I've been trying to work my archos into allowing yahoo email, but I cannot configure it to work and connect with the server. Gmail works fine, but I'm not exactly sure what Pop is on yahoo mail. Any help please?
