  • How do you add hash mark break on the y-axis in Excel?

I'm presenting a percentage chart. The largest percentage is over 80 so I'd like to start the y-axis at 70 in order to show the smaller pieces. I can do that easy but I need to be able to illustrate to the looker that there is a break between 0 and 70 that is not included. This is done by two hash marks on the y-axis between 0 and 70. Can this be done in Excel?

    Thanks!

  • Adding additional grout?

My bathroom floor is small tiles with a lot of grout. When the contractor completed the grout, it looked great, until it dried. It dried and shrank and now leaves some sharp edges of the tiles and well as little wells.

My question is, can I go back over the floor with more grout to fill it in?

  • 1970 Bonneville, how much to ask when selling?

I have a 1970 Pontiac Bonneville parked in my driveway that was my grandparents car. I inherited the car with the house. The car has not moved in 10 years. It is in good condition, with no dents, minimal rust, and no interior problems. Obviously, it will need some work under the hood to get everything ready to drive again.

I had a repairman at my home who saw the car and would like to buy it. As it's not doing anything for me and I have no sentimental attachment to it, I'd love to sell it to pay for my new furnace. I don't know where to start on price.

Does anyone know of a site that I can get info about how much to ask for it? Does anyone have any experience and can give me an estimated sell price? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks!

  • Charlotte Lucas situation all that bad?

When Charlotte married Mr. Collins in "Pride and Prejudice" she did not follow the same thinking as Elizabeth or Jane in marrying for love. She married because she knew that it would place her in a good position with a man who would be able to provide what she needed to live her life. Her life was not given the love of a Mr. Darcy but can people really expect that.

My question is: do stories give us an unreasonable expectation of what to expect in love and marriage. Wouldn't it be ok to marry someone who would be able to provide and how would always be there? Is love necessary for marriage?

  • Poverty and accepted violence?

I am looking for a reference to learn more about the accepted violence among those who are in poverty. Specifically, I discussed with a family how their child was violent and acted aggressively in numerous situations. The parents were supportive of his violent acts when it dealt with sticking up for his siblings or to survive in the neighborhood. The problem is is that the youth cannot distinguish between these situations and acts violently whenever he feels he's been wronged.

I would like some reading material to understand this concept better. Does anyone know any authors, terms that I can serch for, or a specific reference?

Thanks in advance for any help!
