What are references on the Stafford loan for?
And how much information do they have access to regarding the loan? I'm mostly wondering whether they can see the amount I have borrowed.
2 AnswersFinancial Aid9 years agoAnother critical value method question...?
I know I need to study and do my own homework, but its too late now.
Someone claims that the average price of a small pizza in Canton is $5. A sample of six pizzas had an average price of $5.70 and a sample standard deviation of $1.30. Assume a normal population and use the critical value method to test the claim at 0.05
1 AnswerMathematics9 years agoHelp with the critical value method?
Procrastinated way too much in online class so I was hoping someone can help me with this.
A study claims 15% of 7th graders are overweight. In a sample of 80, 9 were found to be overweight. At a (alpha) = 0.01, is there enough evidence to reject the claim using critical values?
1 AnswerMathematics9 years agoHow large of a sample size do we need to estimate a population proportion to within 3%, with 99% confidence?
I asked a question similar to this but it gave population standard deviation, and I'm not sure how to do it without.
According to a survey, 60% of teens do not drink alcohol. How large a sample size do we need to estimate the population proportion to within 3% with 99% confidence?
1 AnswerMathematics9 years agoHow do I do this type of confidence interval problem?
I've got the basic idea down, but this part is confusing.
Suppose we want to estimate within $10 the mean salary of all graduates who were psychology majors. How many would have to be sampled to estimate the mean salary to within 10 with 95% confidence, if the population standard deviation was known to be $200?
Thank you so much.
2 AnswersMathematics9 years agoI want to do something new this summer. Should I move to Colorado?
I'm from the East coast. I'm 18, will have already completed two years of college and I just want to do something new.
I considered just moving out to Boulder, or any city I haven't been to really, and seeing what I can do. I'd need to get a job and have a place to stay - even if that meant camping most of the summer, I'd be fine with that. Any suggestions?

Ssahng Jeol Bahngs
I used the weapon for years but have a feeling my instructor didn't pronounce it correctly (Irish accent).

And what impact would it have on real GDP and price level? Thanks.
1 AnswerEconomics10 years agoWhat band has a number at the end of it's name?
It was playing in a tattoo shop, I don't know the genre because I only heard part of one song, but a guy there told me the name and it ended with a number, like a year or something. Can anyone think of any?

I want some! Both are about a 20 minute walk so I thought I'd see if anyone knew before I go.
2 AnswersOther - Food & Drink10 years agoDoes mail that is delivered out of state (by plane) get scanned?
Like things would be scanned at airport security? For example if I sent something from New England to the south, it's most likely going by plane so I was wondering if it would be scanned.
1 AnswerOther - Politics & Government10 years agoOut of state for the summer - health insurance?
I have medicaid in Georgia. I'm in Massachusetts for the summer.
What can I do if I need to go to the doctor during this time? Am I going to have to just pay for it?
If it helps I'm 17 and my dad is a resident of MA. The medicaid is with my mom in GA.
I've been sick all week, and other than that I have constant headaches which most medication you can buy does nothing for.
3 AnswersInsurance1 decade agoGerman question - what is this asking?
Wann hast du zum ersten Mal Alkohol getrunken? Was hast du davon gehalten?
I know the first part is when did you first drink alcohol, but the second part doesn't make sense to me. When I try to translate it it comes up with "what have you kept it?"
2 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoHow many servings are in a bag of orange slices candy?
I know it's like 150 calories for 3, but what about the whole bag? Like the kind you'd get from a convenience store or something.
3 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoDoes sugar free instant breakfast taste just as good?
I normally get regular milk chocolate, but sugar free has less calories so I was wondering if anyone has tried it. Thanks

In the fridge of course, and before the expiration date.
5 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoDo you tell people when you go on a diet?
Are there certain people, like just family, just friends, or both? Or do you just keep it to yourself and lose the weight? Just curious, the first time I lost weight most people knew but I'm not really saying anything this time.
11 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoPickiest eater ever, how can I still eat healthy?
So.. I don't like vegatables at all, and the only kind of meat I'll eat is chicken tenders/nuggets. As for fruit, I like pineapples, grapes, apples, pears and.. that's about it. I live off cereal, bread products like sandwiches, pizza, pasta and stuff like that, fries and other snacks like pretzels, jello, pudding, goldfish, rice cakes and crackers. Of course I like all the things that are really bad for you like chocolate, candy, marshmallows and desserts but that won't help me here.
When trying to lose weight I have no problem limiting calories to 1300 or so, but I know I could do it in a healthier way. Any suggestions? It's not that I'm unwilling to try new foods, it just never works out, it's more of a texture thing than taste.
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoIs 1300 calories too little for an hour of exercise a day?
And I don't mean just walking, there will probably be at least an hour of that besides the exercise since I live on a big campus. I run, do group fitness classes and add on 20 minutes of upper body weight training 3 times a week. 5'3 female trying to go from around 150 pounds to about 120.
If 1300 isn't enough, how about 1400? I want this to go by quickly but still be healthy and effective. Thanks =)
