  • Eclipse AVX-2404 theft code?

Long story somewhat short! A few months ago I purchased a used car that had a Eclipse AVX-2404 unit installed. A little over a week ago I ended up in a wreck that totaled the car, so I removed the unit and sold it to a buddy of mine. He got around to hooking it up, and while playing, it pops up on the top of the screen something about a "theft code". I've search everywhere I can possibly think of to help resolve this issue, but I have found nothing at all. I have even called Eclipse/Fujitsu Ten to see if they can help, but no matter what prompt I try it send me either to a full voice mail box or a dead end. I've even emailed their Tech Support and nothing.

Does anybody have a clue at all where I can get this code, or how to bypass it?

I want to return the other game that was on the original receipt from saturday, so I can get the new froza game today. However when i returned the game sunday they never gave me the original receipt that showed both games back. Will i be able to return, or am i going to have a hassle? Can they look it up? It shows proof in my purchases account online.

  • Does this sound like i need a motor?

Last week my 2001 jeep grand cherokee started knocking. Im not a mechanic and just really wanna be able to let someone know that buys it what could be wrong. It does have the 4.0 motor with 182k miles on it.

The knocking is kind of loud it doesnt go away at any rpm. It just gets louder and faster. I did notice if i srart it up, crawl underneath, it sounds like its coming from around the oil pan.

If its a simple fix i might keep it. Maybe not. But just curious right now.

  • Are 2 subwoofers better than 1?

I have a single mtx subwoofer with a matched mtx amp. They both are rms @ 250 watts.

I have a buddy that is looking to downgrade for baby reasons. He has 2 mtx subs of a different kind with a matching amp he got as a package deal. Both of our amps are 1 channel.

If I trade him am I looking at it being more bass in my car even though its the same watts as what's in there now.

I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee and I am a bass person the more the better.

Anybody with any good answers. Like I said I basically wanna know if its gonna hit harder.

  • 2004 dodge durango good buy?

Im in the market for a new/used suv. Ive always liked the durangos. My question is...is a 2004 durango slt fully loaded with everything and a 5.7 hemi with 101k worth buying. A few people i know have durangos and never had a problem. The one i found and really like i can get for $8,000. I did a kbb value and the retail is over $12,000. Im looking at the durangos because my grand cherokee is just too small i have 3 kids and another on the way and the durango is the only suv with 3rd row seats im liking. Minivans are not a option me nor my wife like them.

    Any opinions

  • 95 nissan maxima fuel injector problem?

Ive been dealing with a misfiring problem for a few days now. I know the plugs are good. And i know the coil is good. That leaves me thinking fuel injector.

Being that im down to checking my injector. I took a screwdriver and did the hearing test to listen for the clicking noise. I checked one other on the rear bank and all on the front bank along with the one from the misfiring cyl.

The one on the misfiring cyl is clicking alot faster than the others.

Not to sound dumb but the others are going tick tick tick while the one on the mis is going ticktickticktick i listen to each one for about 5-10 seconds and that one seems like it almost triples the clicks as the others.

Could be dumping to much fuel? Shouldnt all of them sound alike?

    Any help or insight guys
