What do you use on your AR-15?
I finally broke down and bought an AR-15, it will arrive at my FFL on Friday. I'm fairly new to the AR style and was wondering what products (as far as lube and solvents) you use on your personal AR-15. I own many firearms and know different weapons like different products.
12 AnswersHunting9 years agoTell me what AR-15 magazines you like best?
I'm about to buy an AR-15, of course it only comes with one magazine so I will be needing more. I have looked at a few here at the local gun shops, and I must say they are rather cheap looking. Now I understand the magazines were designed to be disposable for military use, but someone has to make a decent quality mag. My question for you is; what do you use for your AR-15? I have seen that lots of people use P-mags, but I thought metal mags would hold up better in the long run. What are your thoughts on this?
10 AnswersHunting9 years agoWhat is your opinion of the new Charter Arms Pitbull chambered in .40 S&W?
I think this would make a great back up for my every day carry gun chambered in the same caliber. What are your opinions of Charter Arms and their new design?
3 AnswersHunting9 years agoWhat is your opinion on the spikes tactical platform (AR-15)?
I'm looking into getting a spikes tactical mid length carbine. I am wondering if anyone has any personal experience with one, or what your opinions are on the quality of the platform. All the reviews I've seen are good. I would be using it for target shooting mostly incase anyone is wondering.
4 AnswersHunting10 years agoAll around good hunting knife?
I'm looking for a hunting knife for less than $50. I would like one that is inbetween 2 and 5 inches without serations. I will mainly be using it to clean ducks and pheasants, but will carry it in my pocket for normal daily use. Something that holds an edge for a long time and is quality made. I would just go buy one, but I would like some input on what people think of specific knives that fit these requirements.
4 AnswersHunting10 years agoThe proper way to drink Bailey's Irish Liquor?
Is there a way that Baily's was meant to be drank? For example how you never dilute single malt scotch. Also at what temperature should it be kept (refrigerated)?
