OMG Shny Pkmns ^_^

Hi, so. I am posting this on behalf of my husband as he is at work and we have limited internet access. I will post as many details as I can post, and will be back to answer questions as well.

Anyways, I have an 88 Honda Accord. A few weeks ago my car starting having issues trying to start and sometimes wouldn't start at all and would have to be push-started. Then, it went out all together. Prior to that the brakes we're also starting to squeak and starting to go out also. So, we bought front brake pads and a new starter. After replacing the starter, and getting it back up to running and starting order, we replaced the brake pads. We bled the breaks with a large container of brake fluid and a small one but we did not bleed the back brakes only the front.

I am not a car person (well, that well) but I am assuming they were bled thoroughly as they went through an entire large container as well as a small one and the fluid was coming out clean.

When we put the brake pads on and went to do a test drive there was almost no stopping power at all and to get the little that was present I had to pump the brakes a bit and stop very very slowly and carefully. The guy said our caliper on the driver side was shot and the one on the passengers side is not far behind and that could be why my brakes aren't working properly. So, I called trusty autozone (the cash sink experts) and ordered the calipers, went and got them this morning and had the guy replace them. (both sides)

After that was said and done, I went on a test drive. The brakes are a definite improvement, but still require me to press the pedal to floor and sometimes I still have to pump them to get them up to par. However compared to how they felt before the car broke down and before I did any work to it (even with the bad brake pads) they are still not any where close to what they should be. Even with the squeaky old worn down pads I had SIGNIFICANTLY more stopping power.

We have also looked at the back brakes, (drum) which need new shoes, but they are holding up well enough that that shouldn't be what is causing the significant change in braking and stopping power.

I also need new rotors, though according to my mechanic they are still okay to get by for now (however I intend on replacing them with my next paycheck.) could that be what is causing my problems?

Any insight, tips, suggestions, questions, helpful tidbits, anything would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really hoping it isn't my master cylinder as those are a little more expensive than the annoying amount of money i've already put into this car.

The thing is, I DIDN'T graduate high school. I started high school early because my parents moved me cross country and I missed a semesters worth of credits. Failing math every year following didn't help either.

Anyways, I ended up moving across country again to live with my fiance while we get our feet on the ground.

I'm Attending an adult school now to get my Diploma (not my G.E.D. I'm actually going to class for my external high school diploma! )

But my problem is

Do I lie and say I did graduate even though technically I'm still in the process? Or do I just tell the truth and then hope i get an interview to explain my situation?

my hair has been black since 10th grade. Its also been short since 10th grade. I've let it grow out and most of the dye is out (except a couple inches on the bottom) and I really really need a change.

I'm so sick of my hair color!

I'd also like a new cut but i'd like to keep the length (but i'm willing to go a tad shorter. I'd just like to keep it longish. or long compared to what its been for the last 5 years.)

Anyways, I don't know exactly what type of skin tone i have. I believe its a cool skin tone. I also have hazel eyes.

That's the closest pic I can find that is "strait on". Sorry its sort of angled. I also don't have much makeup on so its easier to see my skin tone. (i'm not wearing any base/foundation/concealer/powder... whatever.) My hair is longer than in that picture also. By about 3 inches.

So I'd like any color suggestions and cut suggestions.

I was THINKING a dirty blonde color with some light brown highlights (or lowlights.. or darklights.. or w/e) Or maybe a reddish? I don't know.

Also, What kind of cut? Bangs or no?

I'm beta testing Champions online super hero MMO. (sort of like city of heroes if you ever played but more comic bookish.)

I made a very nice looking female super hero, or at least I think so but i have NO idea what to name her.

at the moment she uses force type powers. I don't know how to explain it. (its just a preset game power set thing.)

I may change it when it get in and start playing but that's what I chose for her for now.

I'd like some sort of trade skill or idea of what I can go back to school for that would allow the minimum amount of training so that I can get into that field quickly and into a secure job.

I was thinking of X-Ray Technician but it seems that that takes 2 - 4 years of schooling/training.

I haven't excluded that option but I'd like something that would allow me to get a decent and secure job quickly so that I can go back to school for a longer duration while still being able to afford an apartment.

At the moment I am staying with with boyfriend of 2 1/2 years and his brothers and we'd really like to move into our own apartment.

I have my high school diploma but only a few semesters of schooling at a college. (and nothing i could use towards a decent job.)

Any suggestions of trades that I could potentially earn a degree in like 6 months to a year? I know that sounds like I'm asking a lot but it doesn't hurt to ask, and I do plan on going back to school later for something more fulfilling. :)

But it was recently pierced. (2 studs on one side of my lip. Not hoops.)

I have a Job interview tomorrow and I was trying to find a way to either hide them, or if there is a place that sells some kind of clear jewelery to put in for the time being.

I intend on telling the person that does interview me that they can be taken out for the job. (as much as it saddens me I'd rather have the job than the piercings.)

But I don't want to have them close up during my interview and then not get the job. :(

Any help?

I was in a comic book store the other day

and i saw a very small, paperback, all white book. I opened it up to see the title of it, but the very first page goes directly into the book itself. I skimmed through it, and am very interested to find out what it is.

I was in a rush and couldn't find anyone to ask about it, and it was when I was traveling to New Hampshire (i live in new york) So i never got a chance to go back and ask/find out.

How would i go about finding this book? searching for it?

Also there was more than one, so it wasn't just a stray book.

It looked to be about 150 pages long or so.

I think i just have a very large heart. I know that sounds cheesy but SO MUCH stuff makes me cry for like half a second. I saw friday the 13'th today, and the transformers 2 trailer made me so happy i almost wet myself, but instead i just got a little teary eyes. books make me cry. Movies, T.v. shows...and I mean like everything. Stupid things that shouldn't make a person make me cry. even if it is for a second.

I am not complaining. I kinda like it. makes me feel good especially if it is from a good book/movie.

I'm not a whiny emo depressed baby either.

I guess my question is, Is anyone else even remotely like this?

I decided i wanted to stretch my ears. I went and got 12 gauge tapers and plugs and did it. A little discomfort no big deal.

its been a month, [also my ears have been pierced for years.] and I decided i wanted to go up a size. However, The place i buy my jewelry takes it out of the case for you and keeps it at the register.

So I asked for 10g Tapers+Plug pack and The person accidentally got an 8.

if this was anything smaller than a 10 skipping sizes wouldn't be an issue but an 8 is significantly larger than a 12.

Now, I know skipping sizes isn't a good idea, but is it possible to stretch it a little more each day without it 1, closing up and 2, getting messed up?

The Mall is an hour away from where i live so it would be hard for me to go back to buy 10's.

I've tried to put them in to see how far they go, its painful. but doesn't seem bad. It seems like it wouldn't be too hard to take my time without coming across any serious issues.

I would just like a few more opinions, tips, suggestions, or any advice anyone might be willing to offer me.

For my birthday I got spiderbites.

Which is like snakebites but only on one side of my lip.

I've had them for about 36 hours...

And my lip is still a little swollen and its still proving to be a bit difficult to eat.

When will i be able to function normally?

and when will the swelling go down?

how long does it take this piercing to fully heal?

Also, I got my septum pierced mid October, and its still a teency bit sore when i press the tip of my nose from the bottom up,

i have a laptop that i brought with me. She has internet (obviously) via a DSL modem. it has an Ethernet port in the back which her computer is hooked up too. her computer and her modem are both like 45 years old. :( she does NOT have a router.

Is there anyway i can configure my computer or something to hook up to her modem via ethernet and get online?

when i try, it says i am connected with limited activity.

i know dsl is different from cable with the ISP adresses or something along those lines.

i am just wondering if there is anyway at all for me to get online on MY computer via HER dsl.

So, i'm 21, and have beenshaving all area's of my body since i was about 16.

however

it is nearly impossible to shave my vagina.

It bleeds as im shaving

like knicks but its not a knick.

and after, within 24 hours i break out with serious SERIOUS razor burn. not just like. a few red bumps, but like covered. i've stopped shaving and just started trimming or shaving with the grain cause it ends up being so so painful.

i can't wear jeans and i it almost makes me cry cayse its so painful/

Any shaving tips or sollutions would make my whole life.

i've tried putting deodorant on down there after i shave[a former stripper told me this trick actually] and it actually helped some.

i've tried different razors. i've tried using conditioner. baby oil. [which also help a tiny bit.] i've tried waxing. lol. NEVER going down that road again.

So please PLEASE if you know of some secret to shaving down there please share with me. im desperate.

Ive flown U.S. airways almost everytime (its usually the cheapest)

ARE RIDICULOUS.

I am drawing a blank. I recently lost all my music on my ipod, and need to download music to put on it.

and there is this metal/rock/whatever band that i THINK starts with a B that plays boondock saints quotes in the beginning.

After taking a nice long shower today, I got out and was lotioning up in front of the mirror when I noticed a pea sized sore (with a larger are around it of color)

it is open.

its a hole.

it does NOT hurt. I didn't even notice it while i was in the shower. I don't know how long its been there, all i know is when i saw it i freaked out.

it looks like maybe i picked a scab or something and then it never properly healed and is now infected. HOWEVER, i don't remember ever having a sore or cut or anything there, and don't remember picking at anything.

all i know is i am scared and am going to the doctor.

I've been having problems burning Audio CD's Using Windows and Itunes.

I do have a CD/DVD Burner, so that is not the problem. It worked fine a few months ago.

Today I went to go burn my c.d. using Itunes. It was "writing" the c'd. Just fine. I went away from my laptop to do some things and when i came back it said "you have inserted a black c'd. rom. to burn a c.d. please select the media you want to burn and press 'burn cd' " (or something very similar.)

so i did it again, using the same cd. It wrote it, and then ejected it, and then closed and said the same message.

so i tried a new c.d. Same thing.

I tried in windows media player with the same 2 discs and the "start burn" button was not clickable.

i tried it with a THIRD blank cd.

same thing.

What am i doing wrong, or what is wrong with my computer?
