  • LED alarm clock without light 24/7?

Does anybody know of a LED alarm clock that has a night mode?

And by that I mean that it's not always on during the night, but like if you press it it will light up and show what the time is.

  • Hair dressers ONLY - height?

I am thinking about becoming a hair dresser but my height worries me.

I am 163 cm tall (or small, haha) , and I believe this isn't tall enough to work as a hairdresser.

And with that I mean have a successful career as a hairdresser, because of the bad position of the body I will have to stand in all day.

My best friend is about 160cm and she had to quit hairdressing because her arms got infections and she had to get surgical help!

I've also heard of other people who had to quit their jobs as hairdressers because of their health. (Mostly arm and back problems)

How tall are you and how long have you worked as a hairdresser? Any tips/ advice?

  • Salon brand users - any of us left here?

I feel like the whole "yahoo answer" community consists of people who swears to mayonnaise other funky and disgusting home remedies or cheap supermarket brands!

Why do people get tricked by this? Is it only because it's cheap and easy to find? Hmm.. I wonder!

Anyway, here's the real question - are there still people out here that swears to salon brands only?

What kind of hair do you have - and what products do you use to treat it?

    Just for fun!

  • Manic Panic/Directions?

What's the best dye - Manic Panic or Directions?

(I am not considering Stargazer as my light brown roots turned purple when using Stargazer Raven black a year ago)

I currently have red hair and I'm looking for a dye that will last the longest. Now, I am fully aware of hair care (I only use salon brand products, color care shampoo etc), and I know that red hair fades quickly, so please don't lecture me on that, just tell me about your experience with these brands! :-)

  • How to get him back - or forget him.?

In january I decided I couldn't stand being ignored by the guy I liked... (we were flirting for a few months, and then he suddenly changed without a warning) So I completely blocked him out of my life... We have spoken maybe 15 sentences to each other since january, I have tried dating other guys etc but I can't seem to forget this guy! It's insane because we're not even friends anymore and I rarely bump into him.

How do I either get him back or forget him completely? How DO you get a guy to like you anyway??

    btw I'm 22 and he's my age.

  • Joico K-pak color system in shampoo?

For professional hairdressers only or if you actually know the deal...

Is it possible to use the Joico K-pak color system (or chrome) mixed in with my shampoo to make my red dye last longer? I recently dyed my hair in a salon that used this brand and my hairdresser told me that because they use the K-pak system and its low on ammonia it's not bad for the hair. My red color fades QUICKLY and I am desperate to keep it vibrant without having to redye it too often. If I make this shampoo I am aware of the fact that I shouldn't use it everyday :)

So - can I mix in some of the color in my color protect shampoo? or in a treatment?

If so - how do I mix it and what else do I need beside the Color tube?

If I want to buy the dye online to dye it at home later, how do I mix it?

    WITH THANKS
