I the plaintiff requested a default judgment. The defendant sent a letter to the court stating they sold the property my injuries occurred at so they are not guilty, however, I never received a copy of the letter, the court told me over the phone. What happens next do I go to court, do they send me a notice of some kind? 

My husband slipped in wet floor and hit his head. I developed upper respiratory infection from mold. The apartment flooding destroying everything. Apartment complex refused to move up to another similar apartment. Heath department and city deemed apartment uninhabitable. We moved out owing nothing but they charged us for flood damage from above apartment. We sued they sold property. They sent a letter to court saying its not our property anymore we sold it, we are not liable anymore. They question is do we sue the new owner?

The damage was due to a flood in an upstairs apartment, of which the resident did not cause the damage. A complaint was filed with city and they voted landlord, landlord charged downstairs tenant for repairs. Is this retaliation?

Requested information on the corporate office that owns a specific apartment complex, concerning an issue which has not been taken care of on the local management level.The management office will not give this information, the internet does not show the information, lookup by EIN Number shows nothing, BBB has no information on corporate office, their website shows no corporate contact. Can someone tell me how to obtain this information, as someone has to own these muti apartment complexes.

If two disabled people life in an apartment sharing the rental cost, But one dies, making it unaffordable for the other disabled tenant who now lives alone in the apartment. Would it be a reasonable accommodation protected under the American Disabilities Act to request a smaller more affordable apartment if one is readily available.?

My Husband passed away and both our names were on a lease. We paid all our bills based on our income, excellent credit. We have a apartment lease until August 2018. My husband's legs and arms are swollen and the doctor has started dialysis? How long will it take for the swelling to go down? He has little urine output and the goal on dialysis was 2000 output but he only did 500 fluid output (3hours first time) before his blood pressure started dropping so they stopped for today and start back tomorrow.

My husband had a stroke and his left leg, arm, and eye does not move, the right side is fine. I've been exercising him 3 times a day in accordage to the physical therapist I message his legs, oil his feet, read to him, talk to him, clean him, making sure if no bed sores, etc. Lung doctor say he may never wake up but he has, he looks at me, gives thumbs up and two fingers when asked, and has stated his name. Wondering why lung doctor is telling me about his brain. His brain doctors state no change good or bad. I asked for a EEG to see brain activity, but brain doctor say its not needed, thats only with end of life or no brain activity, which is not the case here. He is on profolfol so I guess this makes him drowsy in responding sometimes. Can loss of function occur all at once or gradually after a stroke. I really need someone's personal experience (stroke survivor or stroke care giver ) with this to prepare caring for him long turn if needed or what else can I do to support him.

So my husband is sick and I as his wife cares for him. However his sister often tells me how to care for him and what she wants done for him. When I ask for help she refuses and when I look tired to her she tells me it's not about you its about her brother. Another example she has a car and came by the hospital, I had to take two bus to home and two buses back to get a Christmas gift left at home because the little girl he bought it for was going out of town and my husband's sister wanted her to have it. She didn't offer to drive me and said its was too cold and raining outside. The drive which would have taken less than 45 minutes round trip. However she in turned called me on my cell phone while I was trying to make my way back to the hospiral and asked why is it taking me so long on the bus to get back.I didn't make it back in time with the gift, so I asked his sister to give it to the little girl, she stated it's cold and raining outside to catch up to them at the family house.. Someone please explain this behavior.

I would like to know the chances of a good recovery from a brain stroke. I know each person is different but can you provide me with an experience with either yourself, friend, or family member?

My husband is in ICU and we were assigned a new nurse. I cordially introduced myself to her. She then sneared. Okay so she wanted to place my husband on a high dosage of profol. The doctor was wanting him to wake up more so I asked did the doctor change his order? She immediately screamed, I got this!! I'm not an incompetent nurse. I know what I'm doing! Boo boo. I'm trying to understand this personality. But somehow I feel disrespected and I never met her before so she does not know me. Can you also ask for a nurse change?

I had begun taking care of my fiance after a stroke. Now when I kiss him on the forehead or hold his hand his sister moves me away. She then tries to order me around and saying I'm not caring for her brother right. I bathe him, shave him, comb his hair, message his feet, hands, arms, okay relaxing music, exercise with him, song to him? Read the bible, etc. I don't know how to approach this. She comes for an hour and for that hour she's bossy, and doesn't want me near him. What should I do as this is making me angry.

I had one account on my credit report that recently dropped off now I have a zero credit score. The thing is that I need to rent another apartment. I have a perfect payment recored.
