In a 260-turn automobile alternator, the magnetic flux in each turn is ΦB = 2.50* 10^-4 cos 𝜔t, where ΦB is in webers, 𝜔 is the angular speed of the alternator, and t is in seconds. The alternator is geared to rotate two times for each engine revolution. The engine is running at an angular speed of 1.00 10^3 rev/min.
I need the solution, Thanks

You are performing studies of the possibility of migrating birds using the Earth's magnetic field for navigation. To modify the magnetic field in the brain of a bird, you fit the bird with coils as "caps" and "collars" as shown in the figure below.
The illustration shows a bird with a long neck floating in water with metal coils fitted around its head and neck. The "cap" coil rests on top of its head like a crown. An identical second coil, the "collar" coil, encircles its neck just below its head. The planes of each coil are parallel to each other and to the surface of the water. A small button battery is secured on top of the bird's back. A wire running along the back of the bird's head connects the "cap" coil, the "collar" coil, and the battery.
The data on the coils indicate that they each have 210 Ω of resistance, a radius of 1.25 cm, and 50 turns of wire. The centers of the coils are separated by 2.45 cm. You wish to create an "Earth-like" magnetic field of 5.5 ✕ 10−5 T at the midpoint of the axis between the coils. Given this data, you need to determine the voltage of the battery (in V) needed to power the coils.
... V ?
Thank you

A supply container dropped from an aircraft by parachute hits a target with a probability of
0.37.
(a) What is the expected number of container drops needed to hit a target?(b) If hits from three containers are required to provide sufficient supplies, what is the expectednumber of containers dropped before sufficient supplies have been provided?(c) What is the probability that sufficient supplies are provided by ten container drops?(d) What is the probability that it is the tenth container dropped that completes the provision ofsupplies?

Draw line graphs of the probability mass functions of a B(6, 0.5) distribution and a B(6, 0.7)
distribution. Mark the expected values of the distributions on the line graphs and calculate the
standard deviations of the two distributions.
