I have a hp computer it is a Pavilion dv6-3025dx Entertainment Notebook running windows 7 home premium. i am having problems with connecting to servers that i know are up and running because they are 24/7 servers and my friends are able to connect to the server but me. i have a HP computer (Pavilion dv6-3025dx Entertainment Notebook it runs windows 7 and it is a 64 bit.) i never had problems playing Minecraft online before this week. i deleted my .minecraft and re downloaded it and that worked for about 10 minutes. just encase i am trying to make a minecraft server but that should not affect it

i have a Linksys router model WRT54G2.I went to this website http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to see if my Minecraft forwarding port is open it said it was closed. how do i open my port(25565 is the port i used) i am able to get on my server. i went to my network and right clicked my router and then clicked on properties the settings added the info Minecraft server Udp ipv4 then port and again for TCP i get this message
