a county states attorney would act as the defense team for the county sheriff's office? wouldn't that pose a huge conflict of interest in cases that involve police misconduct? if the states attorney is responsible for prosecuting criminals, how are the sheriffs suppose to be prosecuted for their misconduct?

it's showing a code of no power to all the O2 sensors. the part they say they need to fix it is a discontinued part with no substitute available. does that make it exempt from emmission testing if I can't find the part anywhere and the stupid light is on? the light on alone means they won't even test it.

handle domestic violence in a certain way? doesn't the domestic violence act give precise instructions for them including documenting evidence and so forth? what happens when the male police choose to ignore the entire incident of violence against a woman?

and those charges were dropped by the State's Attorney, can the SA go back at a later date and reopen those charges?

Can a company make a wellness screening mandatory?

Can the test results be shared with the insurance company or employer without my consent, either individually or collectively? Meaning the actual results versus pass or fail.

Can an employer offer a "reward" such as discounted contributions based not soley on taking the screening but meeting 3 of 5 test results? Wouldn't that be discrimination if only people who pass get discounts?

If an employee fails to meet 3 of 5 requirements, can the employer make it mandatory to take healthy lifestyle classes in order to get any discounts?

If the employee premium contribution is based on passing the tests and the employee fails to meet 3 of 5, does that mean the employer now has knowledge that the employee failed? How could they possible adjust contributions and not know??

horrific neck pain stemming from muscle spasms. This has been going on for over two months. The pain goes from the top of my shoulder blades, through my neck, headache with pain in the base of my skull, around both sides of my head, pain behind both eyes and then finally stops at the top of my head. I can't put my chin to my chest either. The only relief I get is to lay down. My internet research leads me to believe I have several muscles acting up. OTC isn't helping. It's time for a doctor but I don't know what type I would need to see. Suggestions??

the republicans blocked extending unemployment for those of us who are depending on it but passed 33 billion dollars in funding to extend the war another year: a war that has done little beyond taking the lives of our soldiers? And yes, I know the extension was finally passed but explain why the republicans are more interested in other countries than taking care of our own? Makes me sick!!

I bought a Microsoft webcam the other day that specified it worked with YIM. Inititally it worked fine but it downgraded my IM version from 10 to 9. About 2 days later, I installed the Vista SP2 and now YIM isn't recognizing my webcam. The camera does show in my device manager and it does work with Logitech Vid but not Yahoo. I did unplug the camera, reboot and replug in and still nothing. Since the camera didn't come with any software installation, I'm kind of stuck what else to do to get it working with Yahoo. Any suggestions??

I've been terminated from 13 jobs in 5 years due to my ADD, specifically the uncontrolled outbursts and lack of attention to detail. I am to the point I can't do accounting work anymore and need to find another career. Does anyone have suggestions for a career choice that my disease, bad back and being an over 40 female won't affect? Basically, I can't have a job on my feet or be a laborer.

Had a health scare and the doctors are really pushing to quit. I take stimulant add meds which i swear make me want to smoke more but i really need to quit. looking for how others managed to quit. the normal ways like patches aren't enough to overcome the cravings i think i'm having from the meds. i think i'm really addicted to the "high" from the combination of meds and nicotine.

does anyone take stimulant add meds that finds it makes you want to smoke a lot more? i can't tell if i want to smoke more from the meds or if it psychological.

wouldn't you rather see our tax dollars helping OUR country instead of another? his major spending has been done to help US unlike our last administration who spent money on everything but us. Why are so many of the republicans against helping america? do you think the gov't spending our tax dollars on us is really a bad thing? you'll still end up paying taxes no matter what so why not on us instead of some foreign country who doesn't want our help?
