  • Legal question on reasonable suspicion?

Is a police officer required to have reasonable suspicion to change directions and get behind a vehicle? Or does the reasonable suspicion only come into play with the actual traffic stop?

    Heres an example:

Vehicle A is traveling the speed limit down the road. Vehicle A is the only vehicle on the road. Police Car is traveling the opposite way down the road. Is it considered prudent of an officer to turn around, even if nothing is wrong and investigate?

  • What is the process for getting a classic car titled and registered in GA?

While I was home on leave last year I purchased a '66 Buick Riviera. I'd like to finally get the car titled and registered so I can drive it. Here's my issue:

I purchased the car from a lawyer in CT. He provided me with a notorized bill of sale from me to him, a notorized bill of sale from the previous owner to himself, and the original title from the original owner to man #2. The problem is that the title was never transfered. At some point the car was sold AS-IS for parts or restoration. (IE Non-running/drivable). The man I purchased the car from had a new engine and transmission installed to make the vehicle operational.

I trailered the car from CT to GA and now I'd like to be able title it in my name. I have a definitve paper trail from owner to owner, each step notorized. I currently have insurance on the vehicle, even though it doesn't leave my driveway.

I have no way to contact the previous owners. The only person I'm in contact with is the lawyer in CT.
