Overseas volunteer medical experiences?
I am considering volunteering overseas as a physician assistant. I would go anywhere, but would like to go to Africa or South America. Has anyone done a simular thing? Was it a good experience for you? Is it worth the expense involved? As a woman, do you think such a thing is safe?
