Plan on going to Sentosa, the zoo, possibly the night safari, the singapore flyer and other expenses like food and transportation ect.. for 2 people.

I've been searching the web about this and have found a couple different answers. I am Thai/US citizen with both a US and Thai passport, my girlfriend however only has a Thai passport. We are thinking about going to Europe on a tour thru a travel agency, which includes return tickets, tours, travel by bus/rail, hotels, and meals ect.

Now I've been told a couple different things regarding the visa, first being that she needs at least 100,000 thb to pass. Another source (Swiss, German, Dutch Embassy websites) tells me that she needs a letter from her employer to verify she has a source of income at least 50 eur/per day to support herself for how many days we are there.

My question is which one is correct? If she has say about 50-60,000 thb, would she have any chance of getting a visa?

Asking in the forum in case someone from Thailand has had this experience.

I was just offered a job by a company whose office are in Times Square in Sukhumvit. They said that they are a recruitment company based in the UK for corporations like Shell, O2, BP, Rolls Royce and Merrill Lynch ect. They said that I wold be cold-calling consumers in Europe to "persuade" them to use their financial services, and we wold not be selling anything.

Now they part that makes me start to wonder if its a boiler room, is that they did not tell me the name of the company are "representing" and their office has no company name on the door, just the unit number. Anther thing is the email they used was mikecurry1958@yahoo.com, very similar to mikecurry2003@yahoo.com that I later found out was a boiler room. The script I was given was also similar to ones that I saw on the internet, that were used in boiler rooms.

My gut tells me that it is a boiler room, but I woulkd like to get other poeple's opinon about it.

I have a new LG 37" Full 1080p LCD and I bought a PS3 with a HDMI cable and at the store they set it up to 1080i. When I got home I changed the settings to 1080p. Now occasionally there is popping sound and what seems to be static on the bottom half of the screen, but for only about 2 seconds, when it was to 1080i there is no problems.

Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Does SuperSport sell them, also please do not tell to just buy a fake one, cause they do not look anything like the real one.

I just got back from samut parkan corcodile farm. But was a bit disappointed cause i didn't get a chance to see "Yai" the largest crocodile in captivity, I was looking forward to see how big this one really is, now don't get me wrong there were huge one there. Does anyone know if he/she is still there and if so where?

looking to find a guitar hero controller for a ps2 in bangkok. before you mention MBK, Pantiup and places like that, i have already checked them out, and they only sell fake after market ones made in china and are not that good. i'm looking for the one that is made by red octane. i saw one already, but it comes with the game.

As far as am aware of theres no such thing as an Xbox 260, so this has to be a typo right?

Anyone knows how much Thai banks charge for using a foreign ATM car (BofA, WAMU, Wells Fargo ect...)? I know can use a Kasikorn card at a Krung Thai ATM for free. But what about a foreign ATM card at a Thai ATM?

Will my Guitar Hero 2 controller that I bought in the US, work on any PS2 system?

I have about $3000 in credit card bills, and I have to relocate overseas for bout 2 or 3 years. Does anyone know if anything drastic will happen if I don't, or can't pay it all off?
