  • Need name on nylon chess bag ...?

I'm getting a new chess bag which is nylon. It is flexible but thick nylon and I'd like to have my name on the outside as it's black like all the men's bags and I'm a woman so I wanted to put my name on it. Does anyone have suggestions for how I might do this? I thought of silver magic marker but that hasn't stayed on flexible things during the past very long. My hubby suggested embroidering it on, but the nylong is quite thick. The heat that is required for iron on letters might melt the nylon. Appreciate any help!

What surface temperature would it need to be to require that a horse be kept in the shade in the desert?

  • I mixed a fly spray that works !?

Start with a plastic, 1-gallon water bottle (or such)

fill 1/3 with cheap white vinegar,

add 1/3 of the Avon Skin So Soft bottle (not 1/3 of the gallon you are pouring into)

add 8-10 drops of each of these essential oils:

    citronella

    cedarwood

    peppermint

    eucalyptus

add water to nearly bring to full

add ONE DROP of liquid soap (dishwashing soap is what I use).

This is so the oils and water will mix. Shake. You can transfer to

other spray bottles and mix ahead. You can spray it on yourself without

worry of toxicity as well. Because it doesn't small strong, I like it.

I feed my horses 3 times a day and while they are eating (or you can do before or after)

the first two times during daylight I spray a very light film on the horses.

After a while this will build up a little more. I find that it keeps flies off and if they land, they leave

quickly. I can safely spray this on fly masks, etc. You can spray some into your hand to put on ears or nose etc.
