If an American song is popular in Germany, is it translated into German so that most of the population can understand it? If the songs are translated, are the two versions the same, or are there differences? If a song is popular but not translated, do people learn enough English to understand the song, or do they like it without understanding the words? Needed for a German Oral on cultural differences. Any help appreciated. :)

Wenn ein Amerikanisches Lied in Deutschland populaer ist, gibt es ein Deutsche Ubersetzung von das Lied? Wenn das stimmt, sind die zwei Lieder die gleiche, oder gibt es Unterschiede? Wenn es gibt kein Ubersetzung, lernen die Mensche, die das Lied moegen, genug Deutsch um das Lied zu verstehen? Oder moegen sie das Lied ohne die woerter zu verstehen?
