I've been going to college as a music major for nearly 4 years now. I've only within the past year, I would say, decided what I would want to do with that degree (That is to say what I would do after going to get a masters degree as well). I love performing, in fact there isn't much else I can see myself doing, and I am very good at it. The problem is all the other classes you have to take to go along with it. I'll be the first to say that while I'm a great performer and vocalist, I am a terrible student. Any class to do with anything other then performing or singing and I just completely lose interest ( Music Theory is a great example). Because of this, I've never been able to get out of lower level classes. Every year I keep telling myself to just grow up and get my work done, but as soon as I start not understanding assignments and lessons, I start to lose interest. I've spent these last years beating myself up saying that I'm just lazy and good for nothing, and at times actually believing it and considering dropping out or changing my major. I've even thought at a time or two that I just have it too easy and want to go off on my own with no support net back home to find out what it really means to work for what you want (honestly I'm still not sure that that's a bad idea). It only takes another Jazz show or other performance though to remind me that this is what I was meant to do. I guess I just want to know if there is anyone else in a situation like this or if anyone has advice for this kind of scenario. I love music, but I just want to know how to get past the parts of it I don't understand.

I've been going to college with this girl for a few years, I've always had kind of an interest in her and we've always been friends, but only now am I finding myself having feelings for her. Now that I've been around her so long, I feel really awkward just now talking to her like I want to ask for a date. Worse then that maybe is that she graduates this semester and isn't sure of where she'll be going after this (She is a Theater major, so it could just about be anywhere). I feel like I'm on the clock before she leaves somewhere and I let her go without ever knowing what could've been. It's just amazing how calm I am with asking other girls out but with her, maybe because we've been just friends for so long. Just wanted to know if I should even attempt to ask for a date and if so how to go about doing it.

I am currently running a 32 bit version of windows vista home premium and I would like to install a 64 bit version of Windows 7 home premium. I know I will need to do a clean install for this, my question is can I do that with the upgrade version of windows 7 home premium for $119.00 or do I have to get the full $200 dollar version?

I have a friend who has been with or dated guys who all have beards, like full on lumberjack sometimes. Why would this be so attractive for her when it seems that that is all they have going for them? What are the rest of you girls thoughts on this?

First met this girl at a rehearsal, she actually walked up to me and asked me my name and what I did in school, seemed really friendly and cute, so I thought Id try to get to know her better by talking to her and IM'ing her on facebook once, she seemed to like it at first, then over the next few days she stopped talking to me, ignoring me, and even taking me off her facebook. I didn't know it then but she has a boyfriend that she's been with for a little while apparently. So do you all think that I freaked her out (didn't seem like it but I could be wrong) or is she just trying to protect the relationship she has but not showing any interest in me. Any thoughts?

I have saved games (from skyrim for example) to my cloud storage from my console at home. Now Im at a friends house on his xbox trying to find my cloud saves. I have downloaded my profile to his console but for some reason I cannot find my cloud storage on his console. All I see when It asked me what storage device I want to use is his hard drive and his cloud storage. Where can I find my cloud saves on his console? Thank you for your answers.

Most people just have one problem when this happens, but I've gotten every message you can think for my Iphone not connecting. I've seen the disconnect and reconnect and try again message, unable to link due to and error, can't be recognized, and lately not showing up on my computer at all, not even in my usb removable devices list. Its been this way for weeks, but now Ive restored my Iphone to factory settings to see if that worked, it did not, so now I dont have a phone, anyone with experience please help. Thank you

One of my best friends is breaking up with her high school sweetheart after 4 years together. It isn't a pretty break up, he cheated on her with another girl in the worst way possible, and she is completely torn up about it. They were each others first major relationship, and each others first sexual partners. It wasn't the first time he had done something similar to this, but he had just made excuses for himself and she went back to him, but never anything this bad. At first her ex didn't seem to care less about her finding out, just ran back to his other girl, then she blocked his number and since then he's been wanting her back (knows what he lost). She's says she's not going to take him back but Im not so sure, her family and friends, myself included, don't even think they she be seeing each other at all after what happened. Normally I would tell her this, but the problem is, I myself have had feelings for this girl for a long time, since high school even. Im just not sure how to tell her what she should do without looking like a guy who just wants to get with her. I care for her a lot and I've been helping anyway I can think of, trying not to let my feelings get in the way of whats best for her right now. Basically my question is this, What should I tell her and How should I tell her what she needs to hear without looking like some guy who just wants her to himself.

Me and this girl have been talking for a while, we've been on a couple of dates after I'd ask her in person to go somewhere, but the past couple of times of called her to go over homework for a class we have together (my way of leading in to asking her to go somewhere, usually on a Sunday when I don't see her in person) she says she is busy at the time and will call me back when she finishes what she's doing, but doesn't call or give a time frame for when she'll be done. It doesn't appear to be an issue of whether she likes me or not since we've been on dates between the times Ive tried this, but I just want to see if I can understand why she might do this. Perhaps its because it's not a direct way of asking her out, I'm not sure

So this girl has been my friend since High school, I've had feelings for her for nearly all that time (bout 3 years). The reason I havent asked her out before is cuz of her boyfriend. She just a month or so ago broke up with him after 3 years and now my feelings for her are back. She'll call me all the time just to talk, and we talk in class and hang out in school all the time. The problem is, when I ask her to do something like study together or go to a movie, she will make up excuses why she can't go. Im confused obviously, cuz she seems to spend time with her ex all the time, even though she tells all our friends she's never taking him back, and when she doesn't hang out with him, he throws a tantrum, which upsets her cuz they were together so long. Of course with what I've said Ive got more questions I should be asking, but for now I just need to have an opinion on what is going through her mind when I ask her to do something with me.

First off hello all, and thank you for your time. It has been 9 months since I had extensive both upper and lower jaw surgery. When I was done, I thought it would be done and completely satisfied. But after all that time I realize that I'm actually NOT happy with the way things turned out. My face is completely different, and not in very many ways that are good. My cheeks are considerably bigger, actually blocking my eyes out a bit when I smile (No Exaggeration), and my own family doctors (Not Involved in the surgery) are even saying that they are misaligned, as in there is more tissue on one side then the other. My chin was perfectly streamlined before the surgery, and now there is a sag of excess skin from when it was once much larger. Ive tried ignoring these problems but the thing that truly strikes me is the smile they tried to give me, isnt even that great, its mostly blocked by the tissue in my cheeks when I smile. This is in no way an effort to scold or blame the doctors who performed my surgery for these problems, I am simply asking if there are any type of procedures or any other options that could correct this. I just wish the surgeons who performed it would stop saying it looks great while my friends, family, and other doctors shrug their shoulders trying to be nice.

It has been 6 months since my upper and lower jaw surgery put me out of school and work for 8 weeks, as i healed, I noticed that the skin on my face didn't seem to form to the new face at all, seemed like swelling at first, but it has been awhile now, and still looks saggy. It looks to me like the skin is just fitted for a much larger frame then I now have now. Has anyone else had this problem after such a surgery, if so do u think a facial surgery could help me, maybe I just miss my old face but it just bothers me

I recently went on a week long trip with my family and we invited a friend of mine to go with us, a girl I really like as more of a friend it seems. We hung out and got to know each other quite a lot. We both showed interest in eachother as far as I could tell but I never did anything outside of what a friend would do because of not wanting to risk it being awkward and she is still going through a back and forth thing with another guy, who is a jerk but she still likes him so I didn't want to make her feel bad on what is her vacation too. So now we are home and I don't know what to do really. Did I do the right thing here?

I'm looking for a well built hand guard to attach to the top of the barrel of a Ruger 10/22 I just got. Basically just something to keep the barrel from being so exposed and for aesthetic purposes. I plan on keeping the original wood stock on the gun so keeping that into account, what is a good quality hand guard that would not require too much modification to fit on the standard wooden stock?

This girl seems to not like to talk to me all that much around other people or through txting, but when its just me and her in person, she all the sudden opens up and starts asking things like "what do you see your future being like?" and "Do you see yourself having kids someday?". Then after talking like that for sometimes literally hours, it seems to go back to the way it was around other people aside from the occasional comment towards me. I guess the questions about how I see my future are pretty obvious hints to act on, it just becomes awkward for me to ask her on a date or anything since she's so quiet other wise. Any advice?

We are both in college, but have known each other since middle school. I've really always been attracted to her cuz we have so much in common. Lately within the past few months we have gotten to know each other even better through really long conversations when we are alone together, like traveling in a car, to the point where we realize we even have the same opinions on raising kids and a family. This obviously only increases my attraction. Now for the reason I haven't asked her on a date in all these long years. She has been with an abusive jerk for the past 4 years and has just within the past couple days been able to say shes done with it. Our mutual friends, who seem to all know of my attraction, tell me to take it slow and be there for her until she's ready. When we are around mutual friends she seems to be a little hesitant to talk to me directly, and when she does say something, usually in response to something I said, it kinda comes of as a little strange (to everyone else, I think its kinda cute). I'm interested for sure, but she is just shrouded in mystery, the biggest attraction of all, Im just not sure how to handle this. Ladies and possibly men with this experience, what should I do?

I have been looking for a good multi purpose rifle for several weeks now, and recently I have been presented with the opportunity to pick up a century arms WASR-10, a Romanian imported AK-47. It caught my eye initially when I saw its price tag, which was surprisingly low for a semi auto intermediate round rifle (though I suppose typical for an AK-47). I just wanted to ask if there was anyone who has had experience with these rifles and what their thoughts on them were. Also, is this a good choice for a rifle that could turn from target shooting to survival gun easily. Thank you for your wisdom and input.

I have an unusual problem, I within the past few months have had a jaw surgery that helped realign my upper and lower jaw. I had had that problem since I was young, and so tried to avoid smiling when possible. Now I know it seems odd, but when I try to smile with my new jaw alignment, it's like, I don't really know how. I still have braces for a while, but that shouldn't affect this that much. Whenever I'm in the mirror trying to smile it just seems off or awkward. It's made me still even after my surgery just avoid taking photos with friends and family or even just talking to new people, I know how influential a first smile can be. As odd of a question as it is I would just like to ask if anyone has gone through this and or if anyone has any advice on this matter. Thank you for your answers and comments

I'm looking at getting an aftermarket stock for my Ruger 10/22, but there are so many out there it's a little overwhelming. Does anyone have any good suggestions for stocks for this rifle? If it helps I will always take quality and reliability over what looks cool any day. Thank you for your answers.

I have only recently started shooting but already I have shot everything from .22's to a .45 bolt action. I am just about to turn 20 so I am still just shy of being able to purchase a sidearm. My question comes down to this, with a college students low budget I am currently only able to purchase one firearm for a little while, so what caliber of firearm would best cover a vast range of uses, from target shooting, self defense, up to hunting. Also it would be very helpful if there were a particular firearm that you would have in mind for this. Thank you and I appreciate your answers
